We booked a Bay View room for our honeymoon and first time to Broome. Upon arrival we noticed we do not have a Bay View room nor did the room look like the website photos. Our room faced outward to the foliage covering the bar area. We spoke to management about this and they said

Good morning Madelin S Thank you for posting a review I am sorry to hear that we were not able to meet your needs although i believe our young lady at the desk did offer you a selection of rooms at no extra charge. It is true the the suites are more expensive. Having said that I really am sorry that we did not solve your issue to your expectation I wish you a most enjoyable honeymoon and once again my sincere apologies Glyn Batten

We called in based on a recommendation of our shuttle bus driver, to admire the views from the beer garden, and they are stunning. Great views over Roebuck Bay. However, you are some way from the beach. There has been a lot of investment in the hotel and it shows! Upmarket outsid

Good morning Richard Thank you so much for posting a review. It really makes us happy to hear that your shuttle bus driver recommended us as word of mouth is by far the best form of advertising. It is very nice to hear that we met both his and your high standards Please visit with us again soon Glyn Batten

We heard that the meals are great and we were not disappointed. On a really hot Broome day, we sat outdoors in the cool breeze and took in the gorgeous views over the mangroves. Great venue, menu, portion sizes and prices. We had thredfin salmon in batter and grilled thredf

Thank You Gorgio for the wonderful shot of coffee to start our day. Great views and a I loved the smashed avocado. The views over roebuck bay are stunning it's a shame there is no shaded area outside to sit for breakfast as the weather at this time is still very bearable.

Can I book tickets or tours at the front desk? If so, which attractions are available?
Hi Sue T, We didn't stay at the hotel but most hotel reception desks are very helpful for booking tours. We booked a few tours online. Willie Creek Pearl Farm, Pearl Luggers Tour, Camel Ride on Cable Beach and a hovercraft tour. All very easy to find via google. Good luck! :)

Just wondering what they could do to stop nature doing what it does? I am pretty sure a resort cannot control sand flies. stupid
Honestly we do try but short of burning the Mangrove trees down (which probably would not go down too well) we are at natures mercy. It does not happen everyday but it is true that when it does it can be less than comfortable if you are susceptible. Glyn

Is Wi-Fi free for all rooms?
Good morning blinx Yes Wi-Fi is free for all room types at all times. Generally it works very well but the Broome and the Kimberly can be a bit patchy in terms of connectivity sometimes.

Can you tell me if I am in a renovated room in October? What is the best way to get to Cable Beach as I have booked a sunset camel ride and it appears you are further from Cable Beach than wotif suggested?
Good morning Jane There is a bus that stops right outside the hotel to take you ta cable beach its about a 15 minute ride or 8 by taxi Yes all of our rooms have now been renovated so we can assure you that you will be in a splendid new room

Hi, I have booked two nights (1-2 October). Will the room I have be renovated? What is the best way to get to the sunset camel ride on. Cable Beach? I have booked for the Thursday night. I am sure I read in the wotif review that is was 5 minutes from Cable Beach. Thought this was odd as I thought is was on the other side near town.
All of our rooms will be done before you get here so I can assure you that you will have a renovated room. As noted there is a bus stop right outside that will take you to cable beach, about 15 mins or 8 mins in a taxi
