Tonight we had a beautiful meal at The Roey, service was friendly and efficient and I can't believe the quality of the meal and the outstanding Chef is above reproach, I offered my thanks and he was extremely humble in excepting good feedback.

Worst pub meal I ever had. Squid was pale and tasteless, fries soggy and to top it off the salad served was off. The staff is rather unwelcoming too. This was the second time we ate here and the first time wasn't much better. There definitely won't be a third time.

This pub is a throwback to 1970- very retro colours/ room decorations! Clean and basic accommodation. good value especially given the extreme price of other Broome accom. Food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, not cheap but OK. The bar bar is where the locals hang out and is a bit more seedy but Carnarvon Street side is... More

Stayed here for 6 nights in the hotel part. Cheapest room I could find in Broome..so still a lot more than i normally pay. Would have been better off in the caravan park. Not clean, smelly room and smelly towels, plastic covers on mattress and pillows (felt like hospital), flickery outside lights, noisy carpark residents. No outlook to anythink...really claustrophobic.... More

Visited the Roey for lunch. They have signs up all over that they have a new menu. Partner and i ordered chicken schnitzel. Paid extra $4 for salad which was a piece of lettuce and 1/ 2 tomato on a warm plate so it was wilted. Schnitzel was thick and had been deep fried very hard to cut as edges... More

There is a lot going wrong with this place, and previous management have echoed my complaints. The staff are intoxicated most of the time and do not take care of the place. We rarely have soap in either the bathrooms or the kitchen, neither the bathrooms or the kitchen is ever cleaned, and the dorm rooms haven’t been touched in... More

Went for the tradional Roast on Sunday night, used to be good years ago but now it's appalling! Veggies not cooked, other veggies are the frozen ones which don't taste very nice. A small slither of meat, artificial pork crackling, not sure where the gravy was from but definitely from a packet. I definitely won't be going again, also we... More
