Stayed here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. I am not sure what the place was like when the reviews were written but it was not like that now. The place is in great spot, close to the beach and nice Shady trees to park or camp under. It says there is a shop but it never opens and has...

Thank you for your feedback Chris, Unfortunately your trip timing during shut down at the end of the tourist season in Broome, meant you could not enjoy all that Barn Hill has to offer. During the tourist season from Easter to the October school holidays we offer 24 hour power and the fully stocked shop sells out of homemade baked...

Arrived at Barn Hill, expecting to be blown away and was bitterly disappointed instead. The property is obviously a station, with cattle roaming around the camp sites. We checked in and said hi to the man (Steve?)in the office who is not a people kind of person. He was rude and abrupt and didn't seem pleased to see us at...

Really disappointed with Barn Hill Caravan Park this weekend. Their website states 25 a night for an unpowered site. Upon arrival its 25 a night for an unpowered site without a tree or 32 for an unpowered site with a tree. Since when do caravan parks change the prices for tree or no tree on an unpowered camp site? What...

Thank you for your comments Alison, Unfortunately you visited us during shut down at the end of tourist season, which was why not all amenities were open as guest numbers are so low. At Barn Hill we have to generate all our own electricity and pump our own water bores, thus the increased price for the lawned and shaded sites...

Main attraction here is the stunning beach. White sand with fabulous cliffs and rock formations. Good beach walks and plenty of fish to catch. Campsite is a bit dry and dusty with some grassy spots. Facilities are basic but adequate. Well worth a few nights if passing by.

Traveling late in the season it's great to turn up here to a relaxing atmosphere. We'd heard stories of overcrowding and unfriendly regulars, so its been nice to find it otherwise. We chose an unpowered site with a view of the ocean. A short walk to the beach where we have either spent hours walking and enjoying the huge rock...

Good ocean views. Great beach walk's on the low tide. Ample water available. Stayed in non powered site. Very good road in well maintained. Boat beach launching requires 3 people min to be safe. Ablutions basic and very clean. Steve who answers the phone and is on reception desk sometimes will have you in fits of laughter from his jovial...

This would have to be one of my favourite Station Stays but unfortunately there are people who whinge and want to much This is a Station Stay which means it is very rustic but the amenities are always clean and the water hot. The entertainment and Sunday roasts are good value for money. If you drive to the condition of...

We visited here for 2 nights on an unpowered site which had a lovely view overlooking the sea. The beach is lovely with the amazing rock formations. We had to pay $10 for a double hose connection which I think is not acceptable. The amenities without the roof were fine but I went to another shower block which I found...

This caravan/camp g ground us in a great location for fishing & seeing these wonderful Kimberley sunsets. We chose a mud brick 'chalet' which was very rustic but sweet. However it had not been cleaned - I suspect, in a long time! When we checked in the man at the desk said, out of the blue, 'your chalet has been...
