We visited here for 2 nights on an unpowered site which had a lovely view overlooking the sea. The beach is lovely with the amazing rock formations. We had to pay $10 for a double hose connection which I think is not acceptable. The amenities without the roof were fine but I went to another shower block which I found... More

This caravan/camp g ground us in a great location for fishing & seeing these wonderful Kimberley sunsets. We chose a mud brick 'chalet' which was very rustic but sweet. However it had not been cleaned - I suspect, in a long time! When we checked in the man at the desk said, out of the blue, 'your chalet has been... More

We had heard a lot about Barn Hill. Initially we could not get in. "Full House". We tried again a few days later and we're lucky enough to get an unpowered sight. Basic out door amenities were fine and managed a hot shower every day. The beach is one of the best and most scenic I have seen. There Roast... More

Great place to stay. Sites shady but only red dirt. Quaint old facilities but very clean. Entertainment nights are well attended and good fun. Great swimming and fishing beach. Given 2 parcels of fish by regular patrons. Shop sells sausages and mince, icecreams, lamingtons and other bits and pieces.

Barn Hill Station is not your typical caravan park stay. Its a little isolated and the road in can be a little tricky but our four wheel drive managed it fine. There are no modern facilities. You shower in outdoor showers which are open to the elements there are toilet facilities, a drop point and water. It all adds to... More

Bouyed by good reports, we arrived along a very badly corrugated track to be met with something resembling a third world refugee camp. Caravans squashed far too closely together on red dirt with no shade in the unpowered area, and a disgraceful lack of facilities in the powered area. Shared taps but with no adaptors - if you want an... More

People who praise this place are delusional,This place is a disgrace, public health need to get in and assess it. Revolting sites dirty big sand plots. Whilst we were there gastrointestinal was rife thus making it unpleasant not surprised as the facilities are not rustic but primitive. Five vans one tap, eleven vans six power points. Lost power rang the... More

What a gem on the coast! Staff very friendly, facilities rustic, but adequate. Location, location. Absolutely stunning scenery, long walks up or down the beach which is subjected to 9.8 metre tides, so exploring the exposed rock pools n reef at low tide is easy. We arrived on a Sunday, (roast night). $17 per head, BYO everything(but the food). I was... More

Sensational coastline, friendly staff. Reading other reviews maybe some don't realise it is a 'Station Stay' and quite a remote, rugged Kimberley location... We are privileged to access and see some of these places. If you expect to find big shady trees for every spot, green grass, wide smooth roads and pristine ablutions you may want to save your expectations... More

The beautiful beach makes up for the caravan park, especially the magical sunsets. Lots of shade for the powered sites but very little for campers. The amenities are in need of an upgrade. The regulars that go there year after year think they own the park. Lots of red dust but it is a station stay. Worth a visit for... More
