Hotel's Favorite
Has everything that you need when visiting Melbourne. Room is more than adequate with a kitchenette that is well equipped and the rest of the room is fitted out with all that you would need. We have stayed before and this is on our list of favourite places to stay.

We had a comfortable stay for out anniversary. The hotel was within walking distance of all the hotspots around Melbourne. Friendly staff, the hotel was clean. Our room was inviting the only real thing if I'm really critical is the bath/shower could use some more grout to make

The location of the hotel is great. However I faced some major issues while staying here. The internet connection was very poor. Almost couldn’t connect. There were separate taps for cold and hot water. It was impossible to control the water temperature when while showering.

There are many activities to see and do while in Melbourne. So it will depend on your preferences and whether or not you have been in Melbourne previously. There are many live shows, concerts, galleries, tours, shopping. Take the circle tram around the city which is free as team travel within the CBD. There is a travel and activities guide free at The Oaks to help you decide. Happy times.

The coast road is not really a road along the coastline, especially in Victoria. But it is still a nice drive. Another alternative is to go from Melbourne through Lakes Entrance and turn left at Cann River. Then go up through Bombala, Cooma and you can go through Canberra, or simply go around it. On the way back you could drive down the NSW coast and turn right before you get to Bairnsdale, going up through Omeo, across to Falls Creek and then back to Melbourne via Bright. This will depend on the road across the high country being open, as it sometimes is closed if there has been high snowfall. I would be trying to avoid the Hume Highway, It is a great road, but it is quite boring.
