I'll start with a positive - the location is great and the room was clean. The reception staff were very friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on a Thursday night on the eighth floor. It was a little difficult to find the room - go up one lift to second floor, walk around to the other side of...

Have stayed several times previously and find the location extremely convenient for shopping, sports district (Rod Laver Arena, AAMI park and MCG a ten minute walk) and the CBD especially Chinatown. Received a room upgrade from the lovely Marina, so up to the eleventh floor. A great vista and plenty of room. Clean, well appointed and a great layout with...

We went for tennis and location was great. However room wasn't one we expected and the only lounge in room broke on third day. Despite telling front desk no action was taken. Room was tired and needed updating and only Windows looked at office block about 8 feet away.

This apartment is in a fantastic CBD location and the price was very reasonable especially considering so many other apartments price were through the roof as we stayed week of Australian Open. Came with free wifi which was great. We paid $35 per night extra for parking, not so bad I guess. But parking and check in and check out...

Our parking, check in, check out process has operated and has been sufficient for many years. We acknowledge our parking is limited in space however, we do operate on existing...

The is apartment hotel is pretty good. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. I was here for only 2 nights and did not need to cook any meals in the apartment- so can't comment on the kitchen equipment. Though I can confirm that this hotel has the basic bathroom and kitchen amenities. There was also a washing machine and iron...

This was conveniently located in the CBD. there are many restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets and shops. We had a two bedroom apartment which was roomy. It was basic but comfortable. An improvement would be a television in at least one of the bedrooms in case people want to chill out separately. Unfortunately no ironing board or hairdryer was...

Everything you need for a pleasant stay including parking. Basic furniture and bedrooms are small but the location was wonderful for our purposes, walked to the museum, Myer Christmas windows and the Arts Centre

I booked this location for 3 nights in November 2016 for its seemingly good review & convenient location for my work appointments. HOWEVER, I didn't get to stay there because of a burst hot water system in the room that I have reserved, but they did put me in another accommodation that is much further away (on the same street)....

Dear Mushix2 It was an inconvenience to us all that the hot water system flooded the apartment allocated to you. The apartment we found for you in another establishment was only 10 minute stroll from here, was at further expense to us and we expected it to be of a similar standard - so we understand your disappointment. We do...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
