Fantastic location, staff were exceptional, so lovely and helpful! Rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable and well made. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious. The only downside was that the bathroom was only accessible through one of the bedrooms; every time anyone wanted to use the toilet/bathroom/shower we had to...

The quest on Gordon is a beautiful heritage building. Facilities within the room were of a high standard. Unfortunately the noise from the street was quite annoying and the television kept dropping out and pixelating.

location good, room a tad basic and out dated. Certainly overpriced for what you got. Did the job for us as we didn`t spend a lot of time in the room. Would probably look for something a little better value for money next time even if it cost a little bit more.

As my husband was recovery from an operation we spent a lot of time in the unit Found it comfortable but could have a better tv reception or had a DVD player To use. Recommend that you have all blankets etc are in the unit.

Good location and very friendly staff. Love the Character of the building and options for breakfest/ dinner delivering. Only downside was the wall still has gym sign but it's closed and has people's clothes hanging in it.

I had an enjoyable stay at Quest Gordon Place with my sister, celebrating her birthday. The hotel itself is in a gorgeous heritage building, and the rooms are well-equipped with everything you would hope to find. The pool looked terrific and we were disappointed we were not staying long enough to fit in a swim! It was a little frustrating...

Great location, excellent staff willing to go extra mile, but room was dark and very poorly cleaned. Lots of broken things in the room due to age and date of fitout, and carpet very badly stained. Very noisy taps.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gordon Place because it was authentic and charming. It had many original features plus some nice renovations. A little run down in appearance in my room but clean, convenient, and enjoyable

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
