Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

Next to the Queen Victoria Market. The property is in front of the tram stop. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. The Elizabeth street was noisy day and night. Good coffee shop downstairs. Good security and friendly staff.

The positives were good transport links from hotel to rest of city. Friendly helpful staff overall. Food we experienced was ok. Good security via lift and room key. Negatives were that there was a lack of drawer space and hangars for clothes.

I like the convenience of having my breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast selection was sufficiently broad to choose from. The restaurant crew was courteous and assisted the guests in clockwork efficiency. I also liked the availability of newspaper. Housekeeping and front desk staff

From the outside it looks a lot nicer than what it is , I guess you pay for the location as it’s a very central location with plenty of food offerings nearby. The hallways need an update and the rooms aren’t great , however it’s fine for a budget stay , I wouldn’t pay more than

The rooms are sufficient in size. We had 2 adults with 2 double beds and there were no issues with space for all our luggage or when we chilled in the room before going out. We didn't feel like it was too cramped at all. A good size hotel room. Clean and well maintained and great location.
