Just been down for the Oz Open. Perfect location if traveling without the car. A short easy one block walk from Southern Cross Station and the number 70 Rod Laver tram straight across the road. A fabulous Woolworths supermarket at Southern Cross station. The motel itself was beautiful, the hallways are stunning. The reception and security staff always had a...

This Grand Hotel is as the name implies a grand hotel from it's period façade to it's opulent décor you know you have stayed at the Grand. The rooms range from good size to grand size and we have had all of them. Breakfast in the "The RAB Bar and Restaurant" is an experience in pampering. I can not recommend...

The room was fantastic - a suite with lounge/dining, kitchen facilities with separate bedroom and bathroom and a small balcony. The ceilings are very tall and originally were 22 feet. The building was the Railways Administration of Victoria and it is grand. The restaurant and bar was old world décor and very pleasing drinks and food.

We stayed at the Grand for 8 nights. It is a magnificent old hotel with a lot of history. Showing it's age in some areas and we had cracked tiles in the bathroom. The apartments are large and it is so handy to have a kitchen. We stayed in most mornings for breakfast. Unfortunately the Dining Room was closed for...

After a terrible stay at this hotel I left feedback via the Accor survey and sent an email to the address supplied in the feedback request from M Gallery on the 11th January. I was waiting for a response before leaving my review but to this day I haven't had one. Below is the email I sent. This email doesn't...

The staff at check in and throughout our stay were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel itself is a beautiful reminder of an age gone by, but with all the modern conveniences slotted in carefully. Unfortunately, in the two bedroom deluxe (room 507) there is no bathroom mirror in the downstairs bathroom. As my mother is quite unable to come...

The Hotel is easy access to the city and transport. There is reasonable parking on site. The rooms are more like apartments, are quiet and supply a good desk to work at with generally plenty of light.

A great weekend and a so comfortable bed. Large apartment with mezzanine bedroom and bathroom in the extremely large converted blue stone railway head office. The large kitchen area makes it great for extended stay if you wish to cook or have meals. Large refrigerator compliments the unit and is stocked with a variety of drinks. Quiet and enjoyable although...

Stayed for the New Year's Eve in the hotel. Hotel had a very posh facade and nice ambience to it. Although it being the high season, only 2 staffs were available on hand to check us in, which had delayed the check in process somewhat, but the staffs were very courteous and tried to accommodate us given their full house....
