This was my first stay at the Grand Hotel. The location is excellent, very easy to navigate to, once leaving the freeway. Parking is also convenient, and the cost for parking is appropriate. The staff ate lovely. Very kind and helpful. I appreciate the attention to detail given to guests. The card and chocolates bestowed upon us, when we first checked into our room, was charming. Fortuitous circumstance meant we were upgraded to room 540, which is spacious, has several large windows and a lovely, street view. The street noise is minimal, presumably because the room has double-glazed windows. My partner and I utilised the pool, spa and sauna facilities. The facilities are quiet, clean and comfortable. We felt very welcome whilst staying at Grand Hotel and I will definitely consider staying here for any future Melbourne trips.

For years hubby has wanted to stay in the Grand, being such an incredible building in a perfect position. We finally stayed over the weekend and we were both very happy with the service provided, the room, the pool and spa and the delicious chocolates and hand written note on arrival. The corridors ars grand and its a beautiful walk to your room. Super comfy bed. Loved our stay, will definitely be back ....

I stayed recently overnight for. Business trip. Very comfortable bed. Denis was very welcoming on my arrival. A day after leaving I realised I had left my wireless mouse for laptop behind in the room. I rang Denis and he kindly located it for me then mailed it back to me. THANKYOU! I will stay again in the future. Great location too.

I recently took my son for an interstate trip from SA to Melbourne. He is the youngest of three boys and it was his turn for a special one on one trip. When we arrived at the motel a man in running gear said g'day to us and asked us if we were there to check in. We were a bit early so he took our bags and said he'd call us when our room was ready. He asked us about our trip and seemed genuinely interested in our story. The he told us his name was Denis and he was the General Manager. While we were out Denis upgraded our room, took our bags to the room and left us a lovely personal card with an Oscar Wilde quote (my son's name is Oscar!) We had a magnificent stay in a wonderful one bedroom apartment. Oscar loved the pool and spa. I loved the charm and history of the great hallways. All of the staff were courteous and incredibly helpful with information about the city. I'll definitely be booking again.
