Everything is still done very well. The rooms and amenities are first class as you would expect. Service is as one would expect -can’t fault this hotel except for the water pressure and hot water in the bathroom
Spent 3 glorious nights and the Crown Towers with my husband. It was amazing - we had a fabulous room and view and enjoyed the complex as well as exploring our city centre. I highly recommend a stay at the Crown Towers. The pool is amazing, and the service outstanding. Thank you to all the staff, especially in the Crystal Club, for making our stay so valued.
I booked a room for my wife and kids for the weekend while I was overseas and they had the most wonderful time. The rooms were flawless, service was excellent and they were treated like royalties. The only regret is that I should've rebooked the massage, as it wasn't available during the stay.
Easy to check in and utilize valet parking, Excellent suite with grand views. Room is spacious and well presented. Our needs were well catered for with all staff areas at tentative our needs and timelines. We were welcomed to our room with a complimentary bottle of champagne. Bedding was sumptuous and quality.
Average stay Our original room (King Bed) was not available due to a glitch. Front desk tried to offer us a twin bed room. We declined as it was not what we had booked. She then went back to speak to manager and came out and offered us a room upgrade to have a king bed. Yes it was a nice offer, but really, it should have been offered to us at the first instance (keep in mind this was at 11.30pm) However, the room reeked of cigarette smoking - explained to the front desk, they apologised and moved us to another room the next day (albeit lower floor). Didn’t mind too much As we arrived after 11pm the first night, front desk said the “Welcome Gift” (part of our package) will be sent to our room next day as it was too late at night. This was not an issue at all as we were pretty tired. However, next few days came with no such welcome gift sent up Breakfast was OK Lobby had a very nice wow-factor to it, as did the high end shops within the hotel complex Overall though, it was an average stay…
Housekeeping not done for 2 days in a row. Not even bins were cleared. Items were not replenished like water bottles, bath robes, towels, milk to name a few. Had to wait for more than an hour after requesting to get water bottles.
My stay was all too brief to take advantage of all the services offered. I particularly enjoyed the pool and gym. It was a pleasure to meet others who enjoyed their experience as much as I did. I will have happy memories of my stay and look forward to staying again.
Really enjoyed our stay. It was extremely pleasant nothing was too much trouble for staff. A very high level of service. Food was great, room service and all services very high standard. Unfortunately could only get one night , would have loved more.
We were due to checking to an executive suite at 2 PM, and when we arrived it was my him at the valet parking. We were there in May to wait an hour and a half to even check into our room, eating into the time we expected to stay at the hotel. This was extremely disappointing especially when combined with the fact that we were promised French champagne upon arrival, and it never came until the morning after. The next morning we were woken up at 7:30 AM via Roque phone call from a staff member mistakenly calling our room. The room was lovely and the hotel is great, but the staff are overworked and the guests are expected to pick up the pieces when staff are unable to do their job properly or forget details of your stay.
My teenage daughter and I booked a one night stay to escape my work and her exams for a night. We took advantage of the spring special and treated ourselves to breakfast in The Conservatory. It was an absolute treat ! We had a lovely room looking over the river towards Flinders St. Check in was slow because of the school holidays but the staff were kind and apologetic and even gave us a complimentary drinks card.
