Highly recommended for business travellers and couples wanting a good night's sleep with the bonus of kitchen facilities and lovely L'Occitane bath products. Located close to the QV Shopping area, situated in a nice quiet laneway, I thought it was good value for the price with a studio-style kitchen included, friendly helpful staff and nice Nespresso coffee with our included continental...

Stayed here for two nights on a quick little trip to Melbourne. Everything is walking distance from Frasers. Rooms are tidy and bed is extremely comfortable. Not much point to the balcony as it only looks out onto other rooms but who needs a balcony when there is so much to see and do in Melbourne. Definatly value for money...

I've stayed here 3 times in the last 6 weeks. It's a great location. All three units have been spacious and included everything needed for a couple on holiday including cooking facilities. The bathroom is spacious and the toiletries of good quality

The best part about this apartment hotel is its location - an easy walk to the CBD, the museum, St Vincent's Hospital or Chinatown. The alleyway where it is located is a bit dark and scary, especially at night; but there is usually a few people about. The apartment I sprayed in was clean and well appointed. Huge bathroom! Minimal...

The room was adequate and the amenities are OK. Parking two minute walk and only 20 dollars a night extra for as long as you need single entry only. Just a little disappointing after staying at Fraser's in KL which is truly a wonderful stay, Walked to the block arcade right in the middle of town in about 12 minutes...

Exceptional service. I arrived in the morning after travelling to Melbourne on the overnight XPT from Sydney. I was simply meaning to leave my bags there and check in at the advertised 2pm that afternoon. However, the receptionist said she would check if the room was available. I was suitably impressed when it was available. Overseas hotels are great at...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
