Stayed at this motel for a week whilst holidaying in Tasmania. Rooms are fully renovated. It is practical with a small kitchenette, microwave, mini bar fridge, plenty of storage areas, Samsung TV with DVD player etc. Tastefully decorated. Good Actil towels. Wrest Point Casino is a short walk across the street. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, banks, Coles,...

I stayed here for a conference at Wrestpoint, had the 3 br. Apartment (actually at 425 Sandy Bay Rd). Full kitchen, dinette, washer, living room. Beds were comfortable, but back bedroom could use a space heater (got chilly at night). The front room is kinda noisy because of the road, but you also have an amazing view of the river....

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was close to the Wrest Point casino. The rooms don't have a wiew of the bay as I thought. The room is clean and comfortable. The motel is not to far from the city. $12-$15 in a cab will get you into the city or there is a bus stop...

Nice welcome, big room with the Queen Mary2 sailing down the Derwent when we opened the blinds.Locality is spot on,we even walked back from the city(then again we are Queenslanders).A cooked breakfast option would be nice.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a reasonable size and clean and tidy. Cleaning staff are also friendly. Bus stop close by to get to city and Salamanca markets. We also discovered the Riverview snack bar at the casino. Cheap eats with a view within walking distance. Downfall was the hard bed. View not bad.

Shacked up here at 429. Good facilities and fairly central to everything. Our room is good however the bed is hard and we wake up with a sore back. Shower is great. Wash basin is small. Kitchen is fine. There is a view out over the harbour and up go Mount Wellington. We would stay here again.

My room was booked by a travel consultant as part of a prize. It was sold as water view luxury room. I was disappointed when I got to the room as it was not luxurious and at $200 per night for a single room, I thought it was hefty even for Hobart. I found the room noisy. The parking was...

We stayed at a self contained room with Kitchenette on the 3rd floor. The room was surprising new and clean, so as the bathroom facilities. Could enjoy a little sea view from our room. Though the motel is by road side, it wasn't noisy as the traffic wasn't too heavy anyway. Location is convenient, only 5 min drive from Salamanca...

We had a good couple of nights here. Plenty of parking available and very close to Wrest Point. The TV channel/webcam with waterviews was a nice touch for a room without one. We had the Queen Room and it seemed recently refurbished and was very clean. I liked the breakfast bar along the window. Great spot for a tea first...
