Excellent location for Hobart, we would happily stay in Battery Point again. Customer service at the hotel was good, the room was clean, except the furnishings and everything in the room was extremely dated - the bed was sagged and not comfortable at all - possibly the worst hotel bed I've slept in. 'Breakfast' was not what we expected, slices...

Staff were friendly, meals options were well priced and good variety, accommodation was poor. Window locks broken, towel rail broken, bathroom door wouldn't stay closed, carpet dirty, and hair in or on both beds and in shower. Did not stay the night. Would have been good value if it was clean, as is in great location.

Great welcome! Good beer, stout, nice and dark, I miss the English winter! The beer and food was good quality and satisfying. A mix of bar menu and restaurant menu needs to be sorted by management. A great choice though, beer, wine all very good. Shame the oysters were off! Loads of information for us travellers of the world, Tasmania...

I stay here a lot for work. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. The staff and locals are always friendly and it is an easy 5 min walk to the Salamanca precinct. The Pizza shop next door is really nice too.

Close to Salamanca, but a little bit noisy at night. Overall, you get what you pay for. Incredibly affordable accommodation that puts you in the city centre and provides free parking. Would stay at this hotel again. Do bear in mind that this hotel is above a pub so probably not 100% suited towards families with young children.

We were a bunch of mates from interstate looking for somewhere to watch the footy and although the staff made us feel very welcome, the locals did not. Service was ok but we were pretty glad when the match finished and we safely left the premises.

Great location in Battery point, with a good bar and restaurant downstairs. Rooms are basic but do the job. Staff on the premises are very friendly. Free parking out the back and close to great restaurants like Da Angelos next door and Salamanca is a 5 min walk down the road. I paid about $100 a night which included a...

Have stayed here a few times. This is in a great location at the top of the stairs to Salamanca Place. Very convenient to get to the Market and Constitution Dock. Walking distance to Muirs, The Drunken Admiral and numerous restaurants and seafood outlets. The accommodation is old and needs a spruce up but the bed was comfortable and portable...
