Stayed here before and after our tour of Northwest Tasmania. Excellent location and service, though keep in mind that the buildings are old and hallways have multi-levels. Staff were very accommodating about early breakfasts so we could get an early start for tours. Excellent restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is our first visit to the Customs House Waterfront Hotel. The rooms are small but well appointed and very clean. While here on a busy Saturday night we ha a number of technical problems and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble despite the full house and resteraunt. In particular Victoria and Craig They went out of... More

I managed to get a room on specials that is directly above the small stage in the pub. There are performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from around 12 am to about 1 to 130 am and could be annoying for people who are sensitive to noise. I was offered an ear plug. But I didn't take it since I... More

Stayed here Saturday night on our way to Bruny island. Incrediblly comfortable, great staff and super close to the Salamanca markets and bar area plus the harbour. Delicious breakfast was included and the room had a great view.

This hotel is in a great location. Only a few minutes walk to the wharf, markets and restaurants. Everything is virtually at your footsteps. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Room wasn't overly big but lovely and clean. We would differently stay here again!

Four ladies travelling together and found a quad room which was great! The room was clean and spacious BUT the room was close to two night clubs that don't close until 5am!! Very noisy!! May be a good option during the week but definitely not Friday or Saturday nights. Breakfast was included which was very good.

We dined here on a cold Sunday evening. Enjoyed dinner thoroughly and loved the Generous portions! Shows off fresh tassie produce and best of all loved the fireplace! Sadly we were too full to try desert!

Great location, room was quad share which suited our needs, breakfast was good included in cost BUT we paid $260 for the room and the noise from the hotel and surrounding night clubs and people outside until 5am never again!! This hotel might be a good option during the week but definitely not a weekend!!

Only stayed one night, mores the pity. What a great hotel. Booked online after reading the reviews. We were so impressed. Old historic building but the rooms are updated and modern and clean. The KS bed was so comfortable. Room 24 was huge overlooking the harbour and right next to Salamanca Markets. Great nightly rate as well. We will be... More

Conveniently located within walking distance to CBD and waterfront attractions including Salamanca Place and Battery Point. Reasonable tariffs with breakfast and free Wifi included. Generous and well priced meals available from in house restaurant. Recommended for those visiting for business or special events such as Dark Mofo and Sydney to Hobart yacht race.
