Fabulous location if you want to explore Hobart. Within walking distance to many of the attractions. We arrived at the hotel at lunch time on Friday 21st April to a very pleasant welcome. Very polite and friendly reception gentleman who explained where everything was in the hotel. We were in an apartment to sleep four people. Very clean and everything...

The Salamanca Inn was a "fluke" pick. We'd done our web homework & it looked good, but boy did we under-estimate this place! It's excellent. We got SUCH a lovely, efficient and welcoming check in from Vicki. Credit card issues at check in meant that 3 swipes later, Vicki's approach was, never mind, we can sort that later. No embarrassment,...

We had a great 4-day stay here. Facilities very clean. Pool and spa were great. Staff were helpful and the location was excellent - within walking distance to loads of restaurants, cafes, the waterfront etc. We have a 5 person family and had the split level loft apartment - one thing to consider if you have very young children as...

They are great,so many stalls, food to choose from. The hotel is located in a great spot as you can walk all along to different restaurants. From the moment the phones weren't working when we arrived, to the unmade beds, terrible housekeeping service, noise from the indoor pool at night to the threat of being charged if you don't do your own dishes - does not add up to a $450/night room. Soooo overpriced for what it is. I have stayed in far cheaper that were...

We stayed for 3 nights, everything was good. Check in was easy, and they had one of the rooms ready although we were early. We had one king room and one executive suite. The bathroom for the exec suite is upstairs, which was fine for us. The little kitchen was very useful, adequate for cooking a simple meal one night....

Well maintained studio apartment in the most convenient access to the Salamanca area. Hobart's colonial history is all around. The hotel is a brief stroll to restaurants, bars and an expensive supermarket. Further outings on foot traverse an array of vessels and top class eateries.

The 2 bedroom apartment was beautifully appointed and felt quite luxurious. There was plenty of room to accommodate a family and had everything you needed for a self contained holiday. Easy access to Hobart and the wharf, and very close to Salamanca Place so you can enjoy the history and markets. Was a pleasure to stay at Salamanca Inn.
