Stayed for 4 nights at Fountainside with my hubby. The facade of the hotel doesn't look impressive but we were wow-ed by the other aspects. The in house dining was excellent. We had 2 dinners at the hotel throughout our stay. My hubby isn't a fan of hotel food but he was so wow-ed by the first dinner we had,...

It was a great stay for us (4 friends) whereby we got the 2nd floor corner family room. Room was spacious enough for 1 double bed and 2 twin beds with ample room to move around. What we love about it is that the room comes with semi-equipped kitchenette and a cozy little side chair and table. Kinda squeezy if...

This place is the full package: breathtaking views, good price, great in-house dining, free WiFi and pay tv. The mini bar prices are the cheapest I've ever seen. The shower is spacious and hot. We loved our meals in the restaurant downstairs, the breakfast was especially good value for money. My only gripe would be the hard pillows, but it...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fountainside Hotel. The staff were always friendly and very helpful with recommendations for shopping and eating, etc. We found the location to be extremely convenient and the room very quiet. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean which puts your mind at ease.

Would recommend this hotel highly. We stayed with friends here for three nights, nice room on the fifth floor, good view, even though there was a roundabout in front of the hotel it wasn't that noisy. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we had dinner in the hotel one night, reasonably priced, alcohol was the same, you could help...

We had driven past this hotel week before on arriving in Hobart. The brown brick outside was quite off-putting so we ended up staying around the corner in a nice (but much pricer hotel). On our way back through we just needed a nights accommodation and didn't want to pay a lot so we gave the Fountainside a go. All...

Our trip to Hobart was for a " Girls' Get Away " and to all who are looking for a relaxing stay either short or long, well look no further as this hotel is all that you need. Very close to everything as you do not need a car to get around if you will be staying only in the...

I recently stayed 2 nights at Fountainside Hotel Hobart - before and after my day surgery at Royal Hobart Hospital, as it's just next door. They offered me Hospital rates (which I appreciated) and my deluxe King Room on the 7th floor was clean, spacious and quiet, even though it overlooked a busy roundabout at the entrance to the CBD....
