Male bar tender at the front bar Tuesday night 22/9 was very unwelcoming and rude to our group, quite disappointing considering how the hospitality industry is struggling everywhere right now and we were looking forward to enjoying our evening.

Stayed for the majority of the week. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, (I was pleasantly surprised that it was Kingsize) = which I now love much to my husbands despair! Anyway, the staff are amazing, the meals are generous and extremely reasonable and what more can I say! I now like north Hobart and had never thought of staying there only it was for work.

Extensive menu. Prices are more than reasonable. Servings are generous. Booking a breeze and service amazing even though understaffed. Warm and spacious enough. Wheelchair accessible to the dining area.

I flew in on a Friday for an evening wedding, but was delayed three hours by the airline. As a result I was forced to head directly to the ceremony on arrival, which meant I didn't have time to check in beforehand. This was a concern, because I knew I wouldn't make it to the hotel until 2am, well past closing. I need not have worried. Scott went out of his way to help. He made a special arrangement for me to collect the key from a secure location, and then followed up to ensure all went smoothly. You can't beat service like that! And the room was perfect. Comfy beds, well away from the bar so very quiet, with easy access to nearby restaurants, cafes and downtown Hobart. I'll be back!

Good parking in the rear and has all been refurbished and a great ambience. Was there for lunch with my mum, she had fish and chips and I had a great steak - see the pic. I should have had gravy on the side as the chips got soggy - but was good mushroom sauce.
