The sheep are all around you and in the night also possums, koalas and kangaroos. Excellent location: quick drive to Flinders Chase National park, Kelly's Cave and Seal Bay is not too far either. Accommodation is in cabins or lodge rooms. Friendly staff. Awesome farm atmosphere. Big kitchen with lots of space to cook. Cosy dinner room with fire place.... More

We stayed here for one night while on Kangaroo Island. We had a lodge ensuite room, which was clean and basic. While the bathroom is an ensuite, it is essentially a covered porch type setup (thinks similar to what you might get with a rainforest cabana), with a separate stall for the toilet and shower, so if multiple people are... The farm was like a lost farm in a horror movie. There were nobody at the farm and we didin´t have some mobilephone service. Everything was dirty and all doors were open. It looks like a group was running away from this place because of horror or something. All romms were very dirty. The kitchen wasn´t a real kitchen. The... More

The place is beautiful. You should be prepared to be far away from everything. Bring your own food and drinks. They have plenty of cook facilities, but many of them have seen better days. The shower was indecisive, sometimes very hot, sometimes very cold, sometimes both in the same shower. The views were fantastic, they have some llamas/alpacas and sheep... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. No sign of hosts. The communal kitchen areas weren't too inviting. Evidence of backpackers or farm-hands living on-site and sharing facilities, but the kitchen areas weren't kept too clean by these people (whoever they are), and no indication of what we could/couldn't use - it felt a bit like we were intruding on other people's... We stayed here in a cabin for 4 nights in January 2015. The farm is excellently located for exploring the Flinders Chase National Park and as other reviewers have noted it is great to see kangaroos regularly grazing around the farm at dusk. The cabin itself was tidy and well equipped. Now the negatives... Upon arriving we found no sign... More

This is a great farm stay on Kangaroo Island. There is a range of accommodation styles and prices. It is self catered and there are no shops near by so bring everything you will want. The kitchen is in an old sheering shed and is very rustic. Although basic the accommodation is well priced and it will let you stay... More

The Flinders Chase Farm Accommodation is located at the Western end of Kangaroo Island. Therefore, it is perfectly located for an overnight stay when you have several days to spend on KI. We spent one night in one of the cabins. Pros of the stay were definitely the charm of the place (grazing kangaroos in front of the cabin in... More

Very nice place with beautiful bathrooms (we stayed in the ensuite rooms). Clean. First night we spent there was great - lots of wildlife, quiet and peaceful. Second night there was a tour and they did BBQ. They were friendly but still loud. Highly recommend this place - but ask if there's a tour staying at the same day... Nice... More

Flinders Chase Farm offered our family of four with great hospitality and comfort during our 3 day trip in Kangaroo Island. The manager was friendly and down to earth. The beds were comfortable and beddings were clean. The floors and shower room were also clean. The bedroom is well ventilated and has enough power point to re charge your phones.... More
