Stayed here twice on our return trip along the Stuart highway. First visit we did the mine tour which was enjoyable, Rick was a fun and informative guide. Amenities were clean but basic and they had free wifi available in the underground tv room. Camping in the underground area was a novel experience. We have a 3 man tunnel tent... More

We stayed in a budget room which was just that. It was value for money at $66 for couples, however I thought it was perhaps a little pricey for my sister and family of 4 at $116 for the same size room. Although more bedding is required and this needs to be compensated for, just thought the price difference was... More

Rang from Uluru, asked to book, said I will be 7.5-8 hours, lady on the phone said, I quote, 'no need to book, just turn up'. I said ok. So I arrived and was told I didn't book, so no room available. No underground for camping, nothing. Thanks for putting my family with young kids out in the cold for... More

The underground camping was good fun for something different. Our daughter loved it. Unfortunately for us it was very very noisy with people talking late, someone snoring next door and a very noisy squeaky mattress! The flooring is gravel so noisy when people walking around. On the up side the owners are lovely, ablutions old but nice and clean, free... More

We camped in winter and had just enough room to put our large tent up underground. We had been in rain wherever we went up until this and they were presicting rain so thought this was a novel idea. If you have a tent then it was good to out it up as the ground is gravel and quite dusty.... More

Luckily we booked a powered caravan spot in advance. We were advised on arrival that the facility was fully booked out! Our caravan site was under cover, provided with power but not water. The park has a dated but perfectly clear and functional amenities block. Showers are unusually, for this part of the world, hot, cold and free. The underground... More

My husband and I and our two small dogs enjoyed our stay, no grass of course but still able to walk the dogs around the camp site. Very friendly at reception, first night you are offered a tour of the underground, very interesting, my husband went but I am claustrophobic ( I know and I am staying at Coober Pedy... More

Stayed one night on a powered site. Was under a shade cloth out of the weather. They also have an underground camping spot which we would love to try another time. Amenities clean. Had a night mine tour which was very informative. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night in campervan on a powered site. Nice welcome, friendly and informative. Park under netting for partial shade and power on straight away as it was 40°. Clean toilets and showers. Nice underground TV and Internet lounge area. Good value at $28 for 2. No water to top up with.. recommended☺
