Myself and my partner stayed here from returning from travelling for 6 weeks. Although the hostel itself is very basic - the bedrooms are clean and comfortable. There was an error in our booking by our travel agent, however the manager Gary, was very understanding and helpful with the matter right through until we got the problem solved. It took... More

This hostel is a bit of an old fashioned building, no aircon in my room but you can request a room with it. My room backed into the veranda, could get noisy despite the managements attempts to keep the noise down, I wore earplugs and slept fine. A pretty sociable atmosphere, and great staff, just remember to label your food... More

Stayed here for a total of 5 nights, we are a couple and booked a 4 bed dorm but on the first night we were put in separate rooms, wasn't a big deal that we were split up it was more the fact of the room I (female) was put in, pretty sure it was number 17, it was just... More

Located just outside of the central city - but still with a direct access with the free buses, I would have expected paying somewhat 20$ or less for that, instead of 25$ per night for a 4-beds dorms. Positive points: friendly staff, clean kitchen without opening/closing hours, clean fridges, possibility to drink own beers as not a licensed establishment, terrace.... More

The staff here were so helpful it kind of made up for the fact that it was't the most amazing place. its fairly central and easy to get food. we had a twin room with our own ensuite so it was quite nice not so sure about the dorm rooms or shared facilities. Overall though it was fine for a... More

I stayed here with a group not long ago for 2 nights in a 4 person dorm with an en suite. The staff were really friendly but there is a lot that they can do to improve. For starters on a safety note having railings and proper ladders on the bunks might be a good idea, I slept on the... More

I know I've stayed in worse, but this place just felt very grubby and run down. For the state of it, I would of expected $20 a night not nearly $30! The room was drafty as the window didn't shut fully around the air con box. The plug in heater needed a good clean to get rid of the dust... More

My girlfriend and me stayed there nearly four weeks. It's an nice hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful in everything. You can work for free accommodation if they need someone. We stayed there at the car park and also slept there. It was every night quiet. I can't say, how it is to stay in a dorm. The... More
