We had stopped here for fuel a few years ago and were taken by the enthusiasm of the publican. On that occasion we didn't stay. This time we were travelling in a group of 5 cars and I encouraged everyone to stay the night. The rooms are very basic and a little pricey at $120 for an ensuite donga, there...

A brilliant outback Pub for this rally. Phil and staff made sure that all of us had plenty of food, water and alcoholic beverages, all at reasonable prices. The food was freshly made and delicious. Proceeds from the Rally went to Royal Flying Doctor Service and Phil made a very generous donation to that organisation. We had a fantastic time....

It's was early morning and we were welcomed with open arms. We were going to have two coffee's to go but, we stay and the guy looking after us sat with us and had a chat. The place is full - floor, wall and ceiling of memorabilia of other passer - through. Very outback feel.

Phil and his staff are the friendliest bunch you will meet. They are willing to help you out in anyway they can. For such a remote place the food and beverages are well priced. Excellent camping spot, and the hot pool is awesome! Thank you very much

Have stopped into this hotel several times now on way to birdsville. The roof of the hotel is a must see...food is always nice and the drinks are always cold. There must be over 100 hat's & caps on the roof now. Not forgetting all the lengths of hair. A definite place for a visit and don't forget your camera.

Great food, great beer, and great atmosphere and entertainment by Phil the publican. Rooms are basic but clean. Golf clubs are available free for the desperates. The camping ground is near a waterhole with great swimming and plentiful birdlife.

This place is a must visit if you are heading up the Birdsville Track. There is some basic accommodation there and also a campground. Facilities are basic but clean. A hot spring down the back is great for a warm soak with a cold beer. But the highlight is the pub. Lots of different cold beer to choose from and...

Stopped in for a drink driving down the Birdsville Track yesterday. Great experience. Phil is a great character. Tells a good story and makes you feel welcome. We stayed in the accommodation here last time which was good. The lagoon out the back is worth seeing too

We camped here among the amazing birdlife (budgies, eagles and loads of parrots and waterbirds) and found a bit of shade at the end of a long hot drive. We were welcomed by Phil into the dark, cool pub with excellent beer and cider, and a juice box for the two year old! Had a great evening propping up the...
