We took our 3 year old and 1 year old for 4 nights a month back and it was amazing. From the minute we got off the plane in Hamilton island we felt we were on holidays. Our luggage went from the airport to our room while we enjoyed he ferry through the Whitsundays. Room was clean and bright with...

We went here just for the day, if it would not have been for the wildlife I would not have enjoyed what I did. The beach was not enjoyable, it was full of dead coral and Wallaby droppings. So we walked around the Island a ways and through a trail at the one end of the island that went way...

We visited as day visitors. The staff were great and gave our large group (off a cruise ship) a warm welcome. They were helpful, too, especially the lovely young lady at the front desk who assisted me with wifi access. The air conditioning in the main building was not working, which meant the dining room was unbearably hot and humid,...

This hotel offers something for everyone. I stayed here with a group of friends on a tour so it was all pre booked through the tour agency. Upon arrival our keys and rooms were ready and we were given information about what the hotel offers. The food was delicious and there was something to suit even the fussiest of eaters,...

I warn you don't go to this place!!! We arrived on the Saturday late afternoon, check in as normal and told they had already booked our return ferry for the Wednesday morning, everything was ok, went too our room and a look around. We found out on our return that the cyclone was heading our way and if we wanted...

Just ask my family who were trapped there during the recent cyclone. I am totally surprised at those who said they managed well. The resort knew the cyclone was coming but still accepted arrivals. It was a total disgrace.

Firstly I would like to give massive credit to the staff at Daydream for their tireless effort during cyclone Debbie. They did a fantastic job under the circumstances. How they put up with whinging money before safety customers I don't know. Pregnant women, kids, elderly and all some people cared about was discount room prices during a life threatening cyclone,...

Staff and management have been amazing looking after us in cyclone Debbie!!! Thankyou!!! Food and bottled water and gatorade been given to guests! It was a beautiful few days before cyclone hit! You will always get people who complain but in all honesty it is what it is and we were all informed and looked after

We purchased our 5 day holiday through Luxury Escapes Travel (which I will be taking up with that company as it certainly was not luxury!) and it was very average. We had an ocean balcony room which overlooked the jetty where the transfer boats dock so it was fairly noisy and not very private. Rooms were quite nice but nothing...

I can't understand how an expensive island resort is attentive enough to make sure they beautify their toilet seats yet not attentive enough to make sure their coffee shops serve good food. I know it's not the best to put "toilet" and "food" in one sentence, but these little shops were pretty much your alternative to a buffet breakfast if...
