We a regulars staying here many times. The Resort is terrific and even better when the day trippers leave on the last boat back to Cairns. Lovely quiet rooms that are clean and exceptional. Views from the balconies toward the pool are delightful. Just the ticket for a quite night awsy with lots of activities, fish feeding, sunset drinks and... More

The setting of the resort in amongst the rain forest was wonderful, it was lovely and quiet and relaxing. It was so nice to be able to got out during the day to explore the island and various activities such as snorkelling and then return to our room and sit on the verandah looking out onto the trees. The room... More

Very pleasant stay at Green Island, with lovely rooms and helpful staff. The Emerald restaurant food was excellent and of a very high standard. The reef around Green Island was in surprisingly good shape considering the numbers of people who have visited here for so long and there are masses of fish and many turtles - a great experience to... We stayed 4 nights with 2 children (10 and 7). Very relaxing holiday away from the mainland. Lots of tourists between 10am and 4pm, but hardly anyone outside those hours. We enjoyed the fish feeding at 5pm each day. had a beautiful clear day when we snorkeled around the jetty from 3.30 and saw heaps of fish and even turtles,... More

Stayed 4 nights with my wife. We wanted to experience staying at the reef, and this definitely served the purpose. This is a very small island, you can do a full walk around it in about an hour, and the resort takes up a good part of it. It is a very quiet and relaxed place before 10am and after... More

Let's clarify a few things: This is not some island paradise, it's an over developed mess aimed purely at day trippers. Everything, and I mean everything, closes at 4pm except one restaurant.... a restaurant that, even though half empty, claims it has no tables at 7pm and to come back later. Want a reasonable vegetarian choice? You pay 20% extra... More

We stayed for 2 nights. At first we were a bit daunted by the amount of daytrippers there during the day but after the last ferry (4:30pm) it was suddenly surreal, with hardly anyone around. We quickly surmised that was the ultimate time to just relax on the beach quietly!. The room was amazing, really spacious and special. The staff... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay on Green Island. It's much more enjoyable to stay than to do a day trip. The resort staff are very efficient and the cost includes snorkel gear and glass bottom boat rides and endless beach towels. Large torches in the room allow you to wander the rainforest boardwalk at night and there are scavenge... More

We stayed here two nights. Think one night might not be enough time. We took the 830 boat over and the 430 boat back. Lots of people here for the day but was not bad. If you stay, our room was available at 1130am. They keep your luggage for you until than. Our package included a snorkel dive each day... More
