Had a powered tent site & camped for 4 nights. Cathedrals in a great private camping ground. Hot showers included in price of your camping, no need for coins or tokens which I appreciated and always felt reasonably clean when I used the. Good Camp kitchen containing bench seating, BBQ, microwave, 2 burner electric cooktop, kettle & toaster(which I was... More

We stopped off at Cathedrals for lunch. I had the Troppo burger and my wife had the Cathedral Burger. Both burgers were great, fresh bun, fresh salad and good patties. We were both pleased to have something decent for lunch. Lunch option on the island are limited. The burgers were both reasonable priced. The grounds looked well kept and the... More

We travelled with a group of people and all stayed in the same permanent tent section/area. We stayed 6 nights in a permanent family tent and payed for linen. A great option to reduce the amount you need to carry. The camp kitchen was spacious and clean with BBQ's, microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, bait freezer and sink of course. The... More

Fraser island is a gem and Cathedrals on Fraser is a good location to use as a base to see it, especially the northern end of the island. We stayed in a permanent tent for two. Its furnishings were limited to a double bed, chairs and a clothes drying rack but this is camping and we had brought everything else... More

We went with two couples and booked a premium campsite 34A and it was fantastic. It included a tap, a power outlet and a table with shade and a light. The campsite was HUGE we parked two long 4x4 and 2 double tents and had space for another side and table. The shop offers everything you need as well as... More

Found this camp ground very unhelpful. Booked an unpowered site over Easter. Had an accident and fractured my back so had to cancel my trip. Gave them 20 days notice but they refused to refund any of my money saying I had to give them 30 days notice. Wouldn't give me any credit to use at another time, nothing, too... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 4 days. The cabin itself is quite small with no lounge area so we sat outside when eating and socialising. It has everything you need which is great as it reduces the amount of stuff you need to take. The beds were quite decent considering and the toilet blocks are close by.... More

We booked a non powered camp site for 5 nights and had a good time. They have a kitchen area with bbq/elements and fridge/freezer. The showers and toilets are clean and tidy. Although it was a bit annoying only having one key between us. The ladies at the front desk were very lovely and helpful. Not much grass around the... More

Do NOT go here. They act very helpful on the phone, but when you arrive they do not care at all! They charged us double then double booked us. Not caring and with a forceful attitude made us move a day early, this was not easy with our large setup and 3x young kids. They also entered our tent and... More
