Needed an apartment for 4 people (2 couples) for 3 nights. Location was a leading factor. Saw these apartments on line for $660.00 so I thought they would be pretty swish. Unfortunately the apartment we were given was dirty, very old and shabby looking. But we thought ah well, here we are. There was lights that didn't work, dirty carpets, furniture hadn't been moved to clean under, paintwork was dirty and the bathrooms were somewhere in the 1920's. The single bedroom window opened more than 4 cm so would not advise children stay here. Over all I would not book here again and especially at that price.
Stayed 9 nights in this apartment. Stuck in the 80s. Management needs to improve conditions. Very disappointed. Location is excellent but as this was third stay here this was the worst apartment that we have had.
We stayed for three nights at the Golden Gate and had a great apartment. It was very spacious, had wonderful views and was clean and tidy, but a bit dated. Just a ten minute stroll to Surfer's Paradise. If you didn't want to walk there is a tram station very nearby. The receptionist Prashelle is very nice and so helpful, and very pretty!
Located 1 km from the downtown section of surfers paradise this place is perfectly located. Just outside is the tram station and within 2 stops you’re amongst it. The apartments are a little older but twice the size of everything else. Will come back
Not the nicest place I have ever stayed. The ladies in reception didn't quite have it together and not a lot of information including parking and parking spots. We arrived and our apartment was not ready as they were still doing some repairs. It was very tired buyt clean, the second bedrooms light was not working and there was no ladder or any way for us to get up and change the bulb. There was also no lamp to use as a substitute to get us through. We tried to get someone to help with the change of light bulb, but there was no way to access any help once reception was closed, even through the intercom system they have was meant to put us through to someone. The apartment we stayed in was large and affordable, but had friends that had an apartment also in the complex and their was small and pokey. The weekend was wet, so we didn't really get to spend any time in the pool, but believe it was heated. It was also a lovely view.…
