To be honest, I've been coming to the Shore for years, but have been hesitant to review it because it's a favourite retreat. The Shore is an apartment hotel with only four units per floor, so it's usually quiet and doesn't feel crowded. All rooms have ocean views, and it's right across the street from Surfers Paradise beach. There's a...

This is a classic Surfers Paradise budget beach front holiday apartment. We stayed in apartment 41 which has a great view of the beach. It's right on the esplanade so easy access to the beach. There's a tram stop just behind the building and bus stops 1 block away. It's about 10-15 min walk from Cavill Ave, so close enough...

I spent 3 days, 2 nights there attending a seminar at another hotel where rooms were significantly more expensive. Instead of 'a room', I had a self-service apartment with combined kitchen (with all implements), nice round 4 people dining table, lounge area with comfortable sofa, and separate double bedroom separated by an open balcony, and nice bathroom. For a lot...

The Shore has a fantastic location, right in front of the beach and 1 min walk to the tram/bus stops. Its a 10 min walk into the heart of Surfers Paradise, so you avoid the noise of the clubs at night. My room was quite dated (90's decor) but well maintained and fairly clean. I chose a superior room which...

My fiancé and I stayed at the Shore at the end of October and had a wonderful time. We had a room on the very top floor and it was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and we had great ocean views. It was close to the main part of Surfers but not too close that...

Stayed for 3 nights, on the 3rd floor. Room was very clean, and to be honest a lot better than we thought it would be. No complaints at all. Its not a far walk from the center and is located right next to transport for those who dont like a 10 min walk. The caffe was closed, so you kinda...
