Great budget stay for those travelling through Rockhampton. Quiet part of town. Clean room and on-site parking. Wifi and microwave were handy! Directly opposite Dingles cafe for good coffee before the next leg of your roadtrip.

I stayed here for work and was really impressed. It was inexpensive, immaculately clean, great air-conditioning, easy check-in and great service. Rooms are very basic but sometimes that's all you need. I will recommend this motel to my work colleagues - a great little place for a work stop over

Great over night stay to refresh from a camping trip. The staff are fabulous and super friendly. Very clean rooms and easy parking. Use of the washer and dryer are free. The manager lady even folded our clothes and put them in our room.

Decided to stay at Citywalk recently and found the rooms clean, comfy and a good set up. Wardrobe space, iron and extra luggage rest. The staff we dealt with were lovely and helpful, recommending nearby dinner options. Enjoyed our short stay at Citywalk Motor Inn.

Last stop on the journey north – Rockhampton – the cattle city of Queensland and the city that straddles the Tropic of Capricorn. Arrived in Rockhampton mid-morning after driving up from Gladstone, about a three hour drive as we did some sightseeing along the way. Rang to property, spoke to Jane and booked a room for two nights at a reasonable cost. After some sightseeing around Rocky and also lunch, drove to the motel to check-in. Found the property easily mainly due to the very distinctive street presence with the bright colours and large signage. After a friendly check-in where Judy was kind enough to give me information about the areas of Rocky and mainly where eateries could be found. Being mid-afternoon the car park was relatively free but this was to change later in the day an early evening. Parking is non-designated and is relatively tight with the maximum number of parks being located into a small area. Accessing the park and leaving can be difficult due to the tight turning space available and also the narrow entrance/exit. The dominate colour of red is used through out the property, so after obtaining the key was to open the red door into the room. Remember that City Walk Motor Inn Rockhampton is a budget property and makes use of all space possible. The standard queen room was airy with the bedding, walls and furniture all in crisp white. It was a smaller room and space was limited. The queen bed was comfortable and firm. The bathroom was also compact with the handbowl and toilet at one end and the shower at the other end. All was spotlessly clean. The hot water was good with good strength and also consistently ran for 2 showers. The room also featured Flat screen TV and free Wifi with reasonable speed and strength. Small shelving attached to the wall doubled as an eating area and workspace. Power point placement and number was suitable and adequate. The aircon was a split system and worked effectively. The property has ground floor laundry facilities available for guest usage and needs to be organised through reception for a small charge. The room has ironing facilities as standard. If looking for a long stay, I would suggest that this may not be the property for you. Return? For location and budget – Yes. If for a longer period than two nights, I would look for something larger.

Good Morning, What a great review, Thank you. You have covered everything very well. Our parking can be a little busy at times, but we will often advise guests and suggest they reverse in for an easy exit. Our laundry is free of charge to all our guests with both a dryer and clothes line available. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again.
