The apartment is pleasant with a small onsite pool and 5 mins walk from Port Douglas. Our visit came unstuck on our fourth night. The apartment came with about a 1/4 roll of toilet paper on the holder, which ran out on Saturday night. We didn't know the area, so called the number in the visitors guide in the room....

Close to the main street of Port Douglas and just a short walk to the beach. The library is just around the corner and the markets at the end of that street. The best part of it was coming back to the lovely in-ground, heated swimming pool. The only down side is the bedroom has a big opening to the...

Tropic Sands Apartments 21 Davidson Street Port Douglas QLD 4877 The apartments are situated approx. 3oo metres from the main shopping centre, restaurants, hotels, the market and 150 metres from the surf beach. Port Douglas was fully booked and we ended up staying here. The apartment we had was dark and had no view. It made it very quiet as a result, but if you are in for light and views, make sure you ask for second floor. The location is great, just around the corner from the beach and Macrossan Street.

We had problems with a leaking toilet on the first day we were there, but after contacting the off-sight managers for the complex, a plumber arrived to fix it. However, we needed to call him back again. After the 2nd visit, there were no more leaks, so prompt repair service. The apartment complex was very close to the main street,...

Great location 5 minutes walk to beach and town. Quiet basic accommodation, clean but not fancy. Cleaner blankets, bed linen would have even nice as I have ashma and woke up wheezing at night. Dust mites in blankets maybe but I am very sensitive. Would have liked to know reception is not manned before we arrived.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was fairly spacious with a basic but useable kitchen. The location is great, its less than 5 minutes to the beach in one direction and the same to town in the other direction. The apartment is basic, its not the prettiest/most modern place around (but for the price its reasonable). Check in...

We stayed here for our nephew's wedding. Our apartment was managed by Latitude 16, which is trading under bankruptcy administration, and failed to pass on necessary information, passed on wrong information and Security was not able to be contacted when needed. The apartment was three star but adequate, in a very pleasant setting ideally placed for both the shops and...

We stayed at unit 13 which was not satisfactory. The outlet in the shower had no cover resulting in my foot slipping into the drain causing damage to the foot and a visit to the doctor. As I am 80 years of age and have been on pain killers which made our 6 week stay very unpleasant. As a result of...

All apartments have a tropical theme design matching to the surroundings right around. For the self contained a well equipped kitchen / laundry is present. The apartment block is neat, clean and well maintained throughout. Ones privacy is underlined where needed with tropical gardens right around, well shielded from adjoined dwellings. If the sea is choppy or stingers are present...
