My husband and I had the pleasure of overnighting while visiting Port Douglas for a party. A little taken back at first of the 17 and over age limit...we soon saw the many benefits - pool open 24/7, a slow and peaceful wakeup, and a very decadent adults only breakfast. We are the parents of small children, whom we love... More

We stayed only three days of a 10 day holiday here but really enjoyed it. The husband has mobility problems at the moment and this was taken care of, as requested, by giving us a room close to reception and opposite the pool entrance. I wondered whether this would be noisy, but wasn't. We had a lovely outlook to the... More

Spent a week in an Ocean View room - and it was just that. Staff were very helpful throughout, especially booking tours and transfers for us. Superb location at the bottom of Macrossan St - the main drag and the beach was literally across the road. Comfortable and well apointed room with a nice balcony, enjoyable breakfasts by the pool.... My wife and I always make an effort to get away for our wedding anniversary and this year was no exception, but a spate of cold weather at home saw us look further a field for options. Direct flights to Cairns and easy transfers to Port Douglas made this a good choice, and after an on-line search we elected to... More

We had a wonderful week at the Peninsula Boutique Hotel. It is, as the name suggests, a small hotel however offers everything you need. It is quiet whilst being very close to the shopping and dining strip as well right near a beautiful long beach. The staff are friendly, efficient and informative which helps if you do not know the... Recently we returned form another visit to the Peninsula Boutique Hotel in Port Douglas after another fabulous stay. Every time we visit see new improvements to the Hotel rooms an common areas. The new furnishings are modern and have brighten the place up. We find the Peninsula a friendly place with very helpful staff under the guidance of Sheryn and... More

We loved our stay in Port Douglas at the Peninsula Boutique Hotel. The people at the hotel were fantastic, friendly and informative. As other reviews have said the location is excellent. Easy to walk into town. The beach across the road is a wonderful walking beach. We did not swim but saw the nets up for the stingers. One of... More

After 2 weeks touring Australia and staying at Hyatts and Four Seasons properties, we arrived at the Peninsula. After a full day of flying from Tasmania, Sheryn (owner) could not have been more welcoming. Our room overlooked the ocean and though not "luxurious" it was delightful; very comfortable, a huge well stocked bathroom with shower, tub plenty of towels, and... More

The location is the best thing about this hotel as it across the road from the beach but, so are others so it should think about competition. We were booked in here by out travel agent but the rooms are of shaped, the kitchenette is really just a kettle and a sink, all the units have seen better days as... More

We stayed in the Penthouse suite and the views were amazing. The restaurant has beautiful food, i even ate seafood which i rarely do! It was wonderful! You unfortunately notice the changeover in chefs. Get to buffet breakfast early and you wont be disappointed at all, come late and you may as well wait until there is a fresh top... More
