This is a "watch this space" issue since as I arrived new owners were taking over. It is perhaps not fair to make a judgement quite yet. However, the hotel itself is very well positioned and my room was very satisfactory looking out towards the beach. Even for someone of my limited mobility it was possible to walk up the...

A fabulous 12 nights for work & leisure, and I would choose again. I'd prefer a room only tariff or a breakfast voucher that I could exchange for a la carte beachfront, or bar later. Some food dishes fabulous. Some plain.

This was an impromptu trip to escape Melbourne winter. The hotel is ideally located. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We could hear the sea, which is lovely. The owners are experienced and gracious hosts. The restaurant is very high quality with attentive and friendly wait staff. Overall, we could not fault our experience.

On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the new managers, Kylie and Gavin. With a friendly and efficient check-in, a yummy little surprise, we were shown to our room ~ which made us relax from the minute we arrived. Gavin was thorough with his guided tour of our room and information about the resort. We loved the 'adults...

The owners were so helpful with arranging transfers and making sure we had everything we needed. The onsite laundry was great for travelers. My first impression of Australia is great due to my excellent experience staying at the...

A great seaside spot in Port Douglas. A very well maintained luxury property. Only ~35 or so rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. The location is steps away from the main downtown area. The beach is across the street.

This is a great boutique hotel. Wonderful rooms with tropical haven outlooks. Fantastic staff that were always attentive, fun and well informed. The High Tide restaurant had a wonderful menu with daily changes to allow one not to get bored with the fare. When we first arrived we were a little anxious as the lady that took our booking was...

This is a truly amazing hotel, and after 6 perfect nights here I can say that it's the best hotel I have stayed in for many years. And from what I have seen in Port Douglas, it's also the best hotel in town. The location is simply perfect, it's the only hotel overlooking 4 mile beach and you are 100...
