We stayed here for 3 nights. Location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops ,beach and harbour.the bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Outside on patio was a Weber bbq and a small heated swimming pool. Graeme was a very friendly and helpful host and we would highly recommend this charming Lodge.

We stayed four nights at the "Cottage" in September. Location is fantastic - just off Macrossan Street in the centre of town. The cottage has everything that you need - including your own small pool. Graeme was great to deal with and offered suggestion of where to eat as well. Perfect set up for couples - and I'd imagine that... More

Having for years rented magnificent houses for two families in Port Douglas, we decided on a short break - just us and our son. What a fabulous decision it was to stay at The Cottage! Two big bedrooms, fabulous small private pool with a very sunny deck, great kitchen and lounge. And Graeme couldn't have been more accommodating. Surprised by... More

My family and I travelled to Port Douglas and had a great week at the cottage. It's right in town so we never had to drive anywhere but far enough away from the noisy part of town that you can relax without being disturbed. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back for sure

Our family of 4 stayed at the Lodge. This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. It was right in the middle of Port Douglas which meant you could walk everywhere, Make sure you get time to go to the local market on the weekend - lots of delicious food and local crafts. The... Lovely little home in central Port, fabulous deep saltwater pool at the front. The kitchen is small but functional, and used the BBQ most nights anyway. Easy walking distance to anywhere, plus bicycles available for use. Graham was a helpful host, kept the cottage clean and tidy. A perfect, comfortable home for Christmas and New Years!

We spent 4 nights at the beautiful Lodge in August. The weather was quite cool in the evening and there is no heating of course so we appreciated the extra blankets to keep us cosy. There is everything you need if you want to self cater but local restaurants are too good to miss out on, especially if you buy... More

We stayed a few days just after Cyclone Ita. Graeme was really understanding regarding our flight delays. When we did eventually arrive, the cottage was prepared with fresh fruits and some wine in the fridge. The cottage is beautiful & really unique. It's got the small touches that make a big difference - plenty of books, well stocked pantry, towels,... More

Although the Lodge was not available this time, the Cottage was excellent; same high standard of accommodation. At first we thought Port Douglas too far for a long weekend (four days), but it was so easy with arranged transport to and from the airport; and within walking distance of everything we needed and or wanted. All of this with the... More

We recently spent a bit over a week in the cottage and with the benefit of near perfect weather had the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we could have hoped for. The cottage is very well located in close proximity to 4 mile beach as well as the shops allowing for an easy walk to wherever we needed to go...... More
