Chose this based on other trip advisor reviews. Cascade Gardens is within easy walking distance - 10 mins, of the esplanade and main shops and restaurants yet was quiet at night. Good choice for accommodation within this price range. We did have a few maintenance issues but the staff on site were very helpful. Car hire options just down the...

We enjoyed 4 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment. Yes, from the outside the building looks a little tired when compared to more modern buildings, but we found the inside to be very good. Everything was very clean within the apartment, it was well equipped and most importantly, everything worked. All tours will pick up directly from outside and as...

Unfortunately our room was in an L shaped corner, so i am guessing this is the reason why we constantly haf a smoke smell. It really ruined our stay as we could never hsve the doors or windows open. But ss the hotel directs guests to smoke on the balcony tjis problem will continue. I cant complain about facilities of...

We stayed at the Cascade Gardens Apartments in Lake Street Cairns from 15th to 20th August 2015. Shenoa and Glenda run a great place and nothing is too much trouble for them. We have stayed there before over the years, but the apartments have been undergoing refurbishments over the past couple of years and they have come up great. If...

They provided a high chair and a cot on a ground floor room which opened out to the pool which was handy. We arrived late and had no issues collecting our keys from the night safe. Our room had twin beds which was a bit annoying as reception wasn't open to do anything about it but we just moved the...

We stayed here for a few nights and had a ground floor unit with a small courtyard which was great to have that outside area. The pool was lovely, not big but big enough to enjoy and it was deep and the landscaping was lovely. They have a barbeque area by the pool all undercover and lots of tables and...

Well located very close to the Cairns CBD. Clean and comfortable. Annoying about the wifi - advertised as wifi available but did not work at all for the four days we were there. Quiet throughout the whole block. Kitchen well supplied.
