Booked into the hotel expecting adjoining rooms and looking out towards the sea. What we got was rooms not adjoining and on the opposite side of the building from what was requested. The room was not serviced except for the towels being changed. The room did not look like it had ben dusted in awhile. The shower had long hair... More

This was a nice place. Large, clean room but it could use some furniture updates. Its about a 40 minute walk to the marina but its nice walking through the park area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early and had a late flight out. The cab from the... More

Check in was pleasant and the receptionist helpful. On opening our door I found a very large and clean room. The motel is close to amenities particularly the hospital. The onsite restaurant had the best food we'd eaten in Cairns, delicious dinners and breakfast (continental included in room price). The only let down was the house keeping or lack of.... More

I stayed there for a week with friends, we had an amazing week discovering the north of Australia, it was nice and comfortable and had everything we needed, the people who worked there were always willing to help us, great hotel :D

Handy to city. Parking was available. Quiet room. Bed was not soft and comfortable. Kettle was old, asked for a replacement and that too was old (being plastic , not good). Staff were friendly. Breakfast was ordinary.

We stayed in an apartment for 7 nights in July and it was reasonable accommodation for what we paid but nothing spectacular. The apartment was reasonably spacious but very basic with its furniture and bedding. The main bedroom was small and outside in the walkways there are extremely bright lights which never get turned off. The first night I barely... More

Arrived in the afternoon, was given the keys to my room and told the room was on the 3rd floor somewhere above the restaurant. We had booked a delux room in the hotel, we were given a room which was set up for a paraplegic person. The bathroom was one big shower with a toilet and a sink. When we... More

Stayed at the Queenslander for three nights. Room we stayed in was big enough for 4 people. Bathroom was clean, fresh towels provided. Reception lady was very helpful, even confirmed a few bookings for us. Free WiFi, bit slow but was easy to connect to. Continental breakfast was included in price and for 5.50$ we could upgrade to English breakfast... More

At least 20 mins walk from the main shops, even more via the marina. Noisy hotel due to tiled corridors and guests with noisy suitcases arriving late and cleaners trolleys constantly being wheeled along them. Almost wrecked my foot several times tripping on doorway to bathroom which had been renovated but with a raised difference in floor level from lounge... More

My girlfriends and I recently stayed at these apartments for a weekend away and for attending the recent Cairns Cup. We had several problems... Dear MelaineMorgan Thank you for your review and we are most pleased you mentioned the apartment was clean and the female reception staff on reception were kind and understanding.
