My girlfriend and I booked a deluxe room with a king bed after viewing the room online. Unfortunately we booked and paid for the room before actually viewing it. The king bed turned out to be two singles pushed together. I asked staff about this, and they simple stated "[the two singles pushed together] is a king bed to [them]"....

Booked a room with a king sized bed and received two single beds pushed together making a big crack down the middle... and another random single bed in the room. Not ideal at all! Nothing like the photos. Also no doonas/real blankets on any beds, just sheets?! Wifi was good quality though and it was very close to everything which...

We didn't enjoy our accomodation unfortunately. it didn't work well for our first big holiday with two young kids and no car hire. Location wise, If I knew the area, I would have realised it would be better for us to have found accomodation closer to cairns main hub, ideally nearer muddys playground (which the playground was excellent). It just...

We originally booked the Deluxe Jasmine Room but decided to "upgrade" to the Superior Suite Hibiscus. We arrived after driving nearly 13 hours so we were exhausted and wanted to relax! Checked in - Manager seemed friendly enough. Got to room, it smelt dusty and like cigarettes from the person smoking next door. My partner got into the bed and...

Both apartments were basic, second one we were given on returning had bunk beds and a single bed in the second bedroom and a double in the other and a...

Fans and air-conditioning were great, the room was clean and neat but not Four Star. The pools were nice, we liked the rectangle pool better as there was more room to sit by it. We got a "welcome to our hotel call" on our first night which would have been nice if it wasn't at 9.50pm and we were asleep...

Stayed here for 10 nights in April. It was absolutely lovely and the staff were amazing. Room was spacious and clean, beds were comfy, air con was a god send, bathroom was clean, shower was AMAZING, free wifi. Location was about 20 min walk from the Lagoon on the Esplanade and the city where the shops are (with people saying...

I flew into Cairns from a long haul flight with only having the intention of staying for a 2 hour layover however my flight was cancelled and I wasn't due to fly out until 12 hours later. As it was such a long wait and early hours in the morning I decided to see if I could find a hotel...

One night stay pre flight next day. Not very clean, air conditioners were filthy. Very basic rooms. Room switch board kept tripping and hence no aircon, fridge or microwave.Night manager didn't have a clue. Must have been like that for a while as room smelt of defrosting fridge. I worked out that had dodgy microwave power point. Switched off...no more...
