Booked for one night after looking at the photos of this place on their Website. Well the property is nothing like the photos at all!!!! The room was dirty, stunk of bleach, bathroom filthy, I thought the marks on the bathroom basin was part of the basin, but they were all old stains!!!! Curtains falling down and covered in dirt... We were so thankful we stayed here. Canceled our stay at the boutique hotel, which was stuffy and no outside access except standing on the street outside hotel. The staff at Rainbow were wonderful and Claudette (Tish) on reception had Excellent service!! Yes some things in the bathroom needed updating, but in no way effected our stay. For us this... More

I booked online based on the photos they had displayed for those rooms and what we got was not what was displayed. We got a mankey room with half used shampoo and conditioner bottles, broken fridge, broken tv, broken air con, the chain on the door has been previously cut, the toilet door is broken & no blankets or bedding... Do not bother with this hotel! We were completely shocked by the state of the room.Dirty hanging electrical cords strung across to connect with a noisy aircon unit. We counted 5 missing window panes and actually had broken shards of glass in our main bedroom. The tv remote control had all manner of gunge on it. Put a sheet over... More

Evidently there was some issue with my credit card. I received an email from Booking.com com the morning I was arriving stating that there was an issue with my card, but "My booking was still confirmed". I didn't get this, or any other email from the hotel. as I was in transit internationally or in the air. When I arrived... More

In haste I didn't check out reviews on Trip Advisor before booking this hotel. My bad, because if I had done, there is no way I would have made a booking. In fact it was so bad that even though they wouldn't refund my money, I took one look at the room and found a place across the road !

The place was in a good location. But there was an Old Lady at the counter who is not realy nice. There were also smoking and drinking within the property and even in neighboring rooms and it was like a brothel and not a leisure or a place condusive for a small family to enjoy. Furthermore, the place needs a... More

Sad really because the room was relatively well equipped and modernish: flat screen TV with fine reception, kitchenette inc microwave even, cold fridge. Beds average but fine. Bathroom old but serviceable. BUT forget parking onsite, there's about 8 spaces for a huge complex, and spots are tiny. Free street parking at rear (dodgy area!) or in front after about 330pm... The room stank of smoke, apparently all rooms are non smoking , there was no microwave or safe in room 22 which we were allocated, stains on the ceiling, long black hairs in the bed. The "patio" is a small balcony outside the room, and as everyone seemed to sit there and smoke, it was unpleasant to be there. The... More

We booked and stayed 1 night. We knew it was budget accommodation but this place has not been touched since 1970. I dont believe the health department has stepped foot in this place in many years. It was pretty intolerable. Strong smell of bleach in the room. Rotten timber around the door, ripped curtains, security to the room zero, bathroom... More
