The best thing about the hotel was the staff service. They are always ready to help us out and I would like to specially mention Gurinder, who went out of her way to help us and cater to all our needs. She handled our questions and concerns with lot of patience and her beautiful smile. This hotel is in the heart of the CBD with its prime location to the central station. This makes it very convenient for anyone to access nearby amenities.

It was a comfortable room and the facilities were very good. The position of the hotel was excellent as far as to where I was going for my meeting at St John's Cathedral. It was very close to the Central Railway Station as well which meant that I did not have far to carry my bag.

Unfortunately I can not recommend this hotel. The rooms are old and unkept, and even on the top floor, extremely noisy, so it’s unlikely you’ll get a good night of sleep. The staff were also unfriendly and somewhat dismissive, which was a very unusual experience compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed at.

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, it's close to the train station and a short walk from shops and restaurants. Building is old and stuffy. Appartments are disgusting, filthy, dirty, mouldy and not well maintained. We checked in and went to our room and immediately requested a different room as the bathroom was covered in black mould, there was a large stain on the carpet and the sofa was stained/discoloured either way we weren't going to sit on it! Second room appeared to be better at first glance and we were keen to get on with our trip. Upon retuning later we made some horrifying discoveries, broken blind that couldn't be put down, stain on bed sheets, smelly blankets covered in I'm not sure what possibly dried vomit, dirty splash back in kitchen, filth in bathroom, broken dishwasher, leaking fridge. After multiple visits to reception we were offered a small % refund. Honestly we would have rather the place just have been clean and tidy. We will definitely not be returning to Oaks Lexicon. …

Was in town for a work conference. Place was okay and suitable for purpose of my short stay. Staff were friendly but told me wrong information about check out. As I discussed options for check out. The one I opted for and told them I would do was fine at the time but next morning it wasn't. Also said they tried to contact me but didn't have my number to cotact me. But this was provided on check in. Will tell my work not to book here for anyone again

Great location but the aircon roared all night and we couldn’t get lower than 24 degrees. Stuffy and stale. City noises to loud to open the balcony doors to sleep. No staff on hand to assist. Reception is unmanned at night.

Really bad cleanliness and staff unfriendly - won't stay with Oaks again Hotel very dated, shower head fell off in my hand, we had a roll away bed which was left with no pillowcase and springs sticking through mattress. Bedding stained. Problems with air conditioning. Staff uninterested in receiving feedback. Paid a considerable amount for a 2-bedroom executive apartment.

My partner and I just had the most enjoyable night in Brisbane City. This hotel is in a great location whether you want Brisbane City, Riverside or Howard Smith wharves. She said whilst this was our tenth Anniversary it was the most memorable. The staff were so friendly. They let us check in a little earlier as the room was ready and we’re so helpful when we asked for directions. The hotel Manger came out from her office and assisted the receptionist with the information we had asked regarding directions from the hotel. She was so helpful, extremely knowledgeable about Brisbane and the great restaurant’s and activities it has to offer and really wonderful to talk to. I would go back just to get another restaurant recommendation- this Hotel Manager knows her stuff and she’s only new apparently!!!! What a find Lexicon Oaks is.…
