We were staying one night and wanted to be close to the city. Excellent site, walked through the Queen St Mall and over to Southbank where we had dinner. The service from the staff and their friendliness was a standout. The rooms were quite adequate but are in need of a makeover. The buffet breakfast was good.

We stayed at the Mercure for 2 nights after staying at the Pullman so of course it would be a let down but totally adequate for our needs as we weren't in Brisbane to sit in our room. The bed was very comfortable with quality sheets and bedding...small bathroom with shower over the bath. Renovations are currently going on so...

What stood out to us more than anything about this hotel was the wonderful service. From the moment we rocked up and the great concierge, to the lovely friendly check in, genuinely friendly hotel staff and very helpful house keeping (when I had left behind an item of clothing.) What should be a normality in the service industry hardly seems...

Although I've stayed multiple times for business in the excellent adjoining Pullman, this 2 night stay was my first in the Mercure rooms. With reception, dining, bar and pool shared between the 2 hotels, you get the high quality service as would be expected from a 5* hotel, while paying a 4* price. Although the room decor was a little...

Once again we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We use it every time we visit Brisbane. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great service and close to the city. I must mention the lady who services the rooms. Even though she makes our bed etc. the bright friendly greeting we received was just lovely. Well done to your staff.

I arrived and the entrance looked pretty pleasant as did the area outside the lifts...At check in there were two bookings under my name for the same period, there was apparently an issue with the travel agent that made my booking. I assured them that I had only made one booking, I was immediately threatened with being charged a no...

This Mercure is located perfect for shopping in queen st mall. Staff were excellent throughout stay. Restaurants and bar very good downstairs and shared with Pullman hotel. The rooms and decor are old and maintenance is lacking as in corridors light fittings have holes around it and showers areas mouldy, not bad stay but could have been great.
