Annie's is a pleasant place to stay in Brisbane. It is very close to the CBD, walking distance. Close to bus and rail and some great parks n gardens nearby. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but filling enough. The rooms are clean and tidy. Parking is minimal so you need to try to secure this... More

I stayed at Annie's Shandon Inn for 2 weeks in Jan of 2016 and found it a delightful home away from home. I was in a single room, which had a bed, desk, sink and wardrobe and used a communal bathroom, which was very clean and well looked after (the shower is bigger than my own!) - however I believe... Stayed there for a week during the 2013 lions tour .Myself and three friends had a wonderful time and the staff could,nt do enough for us. The inn was central for all our needs with bars and restaurants all within easy reach

We wanted a place in Brisbane so we could walk around and just park our car. We picked this place because of the free parking. The staff that was there were super nice, especially the husband who was very, very nice. We were given the front room. This review would be so different if we had gotten another room. We... More

I noted the bad reviews as i took the train from Brisbane airport to Central. I was whimsical, 'what am I in for?' I asked myself... A kept little house like one you'd expect from the suburbs, only 4-5 minutes walk from Central station. Friendly and fuss free staff to welcome your stay. They almost seemed apologetic to tell me... We visited Brisbane to watch the state of origin so it was a week night that we visited. We were welcomed by the hostess and having paid on line found a smooth transition to the room. Annie's I think is designed with the British style of B&B in mind, it has a lovely little courtyard, excellent location close to the... More

Absolutely gorgeous little BnB set right in the heart of Brizzy with easy access to markets and trains esp if u grab a cab u can be anywhere in minutes. History lining the walls, beautiful old doyleys and coverlets are what you'll find here. If you like the modern and new type of accom this place won't be for you..... More

As already said in many other reviews it is not brand new or shiny. However even the whole place is a bit older and used it was still clean. Rooms are quite small but ok for two people and baggage for one or two days. Staff was very friendly. A simple breakfast (Cornflakes, Toast, Jam and coffee is included). Wifi... More

Oh dear. Although this place seems good value it is tired and minimalist in its offerings. Beds comfortable but how many B&bs these days have no TV in room and an ensuite is an exception. I haven't had to share a bathroom since my backpacking days. This needs to be the hotel inspectors next project as the minimum it needs... More
