Beautiful venue but service is below average I think the staff is not experienced enough to set high standards. Room service wasn’t great ( they didn’t charge the sheets but just sorted the bed out ) Room dining food was pretty average

Another fantastic 3 nights at the Calile - We Love room 512 overlooking the pool but a bit further away from the bar/restaurant so nice and quiet. Definitely love the poolside food and drinks from Hellenika - So good we ate there for dinner too.

The hotel was a wonderful and relaxing stay. I was advised to make sure I booked/asked for a quiet room so we spent the extra money on a poolside facing room. The rooms definitely aren't noise cancelling so I would be worried about noise from the street and from the pool during busy times. Our room was beautiful but showing signs of ageing - the mat was scruffy and posed a trip hazard. Some of the cork tiles were damaged. When we checked out, we were double charged for a single mini bar item and despite emailing, I had to actually call to get the charge refunded. Now I have been charged multiple amounts for each night as well as a final invoice amount so I'm waiting for the Calile to release $700 that they are holding - an arbitrary amount as each night was $566 and apparently they hold $100 a night - not sure where the $700 amount has come from.

Prepaid for a cocktail cube to be delivered at check in, as it was part of my wife’s surprise, before we were heading out to her surprise birthday dinner. I Was told by your staff st check in, it will be straight up. 45mins later I called as it still hadn’t arrived and was told it would straight up. We waited another 45mins, and still hadn’t arrived and we had to leave so called to cancel it. At check out we told regardless we’re being charged for it even though no attempt was made by the hotel to deliver the cube, nor were we contacted to arrange another delivery.

Staff are always very professional; food is wonderful, and the location is very convenient. We tried the Sushi Room for the first time, and it was amazing. The staff were very knowledgeable, and the food was of a very high quality.

Exceptional hotel with fine attention to detail and a sense of ease coupled with excellence. Super impressed with all the staff and also that this hotel is a partner of a wonderful arts company - The Australasian Dance Collective. It’s wonderful seeing aesthetics align - the library at the hotel is exquisite - with beautiful books and a turntable and vinyl. What a touch! Room Service breakfast was delicious and the bed, room and bathroom luxurious. Highly recommend!

Overall the stay was beautiful, I was celebrating my 30th birthday and the hotel also gifted me with a complimentary champagne. Definitely recommend going for 3-4 days and enjoying the pool facilities as well as surrounding restaurants.

Very nice place, but our room absolutely stunk of mildew and probably could have been cleaned a little better as there was black hair all over the floor. Pool way too busy and couldn’t get a lounge which was disappointing as we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary.
