Great location, superb views, helpful staff but not too great rooms. We booked an apartment with two rooms and two bathrooms and were given a room that came with a toilet that was unable to lock. We were moved to another room with just one bathroom and still not able to lock it. And then another room, everything good but this time one of the blinds fell off and was annoying because the sun rose at 4:30am during this period and the glare of the sun shone right onto our face. They couldn’t fix it and suggested we move to another room. But we didn’t want to anymore as we had by then unpacked and settled in. Overall all rooms are dated, with stains on floor tiles everywhere. Carpet looks old too. Of course everything was functioning but don’t expect much. The only thing that was so good was really the view overlooking the River. Car parking was also quite weird with notices pasted in all lots making you rather confused which lot you can park. Location is not bad as it’s within a short walk to Queen Street and right across there are plenty of restaurants fronting the river. Good security at entrance too.…

Hotel's Favorite
Fabulous place to stay, right in the heart of Brisbane. Arrived early and had early check in as the room was ready, 44th floor apartment with balcony over looking the river and city views. Staff are so friendly and helpful, suggestions in the rooms of places to eat. The apartment had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Close to the City Hooper ferries and bus connections. Clean and very comfortable bed too. Extras like shampoo and shower gel very much appreciated. There’s a pool and BBQ area that is kept spotless on the 7th floor. Definitely a place to stay if visiting Brisbane thank you staff.

It wasn't a bad hotel. Parking is frustrating. Lots of available parks but when you look closely you can't park there. Rooms are a bit outdated but the 2 bedroom apartment was big enough which was nice. We had a nice view. 7/11 downstairs made it a bit easier. Cafe downstairs too for coffee and a quick brekky. Everyone was helpful at least

It's truly a home away from home. Complete kitchen appliance and spacios place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Location is great, almost everything is a walking distance. They have toiletries too...minus toothpaste and toothbrush hehe. Highly recommended!

Charged $366 on arrival off my bank card despite having already paid via booking.com. Told by an unapologetic desk lady (after having to queue again for a while as there are not enough staff at the desk) that my refund will be in 5-10 days - felt she could have been a bit more apologetic. Told at check-in there is no pool currently - would have been nice to have been informed of this prior to booking or after booking - site should be updated as this will be closed for a while. Outdated rooms, should atleast have coffee machines for the price paid.

Aurora Suites is located within a short walk of Central Station, the river cats and Queen Street Mall. The two roomed suite was spacious and suited us well. The room is a little bit tired looking. Carpets and sofas are clean but getting a bit worn. FOXTEL was free to use but the pool area was disappointingly closed. Not a cheap option during our stay.

Hotel is in a good location and staff are friendly. Easy access to restaurants, CBD and river walk. Bath room was a little old, but overall room was fine. Bed was comfortable. View of the river was good.

The desk team and house keeping team went to great lengths to find my wedding ring, which I left in the room when I checked out. the ring had fallen under the bed. They located the ring and shipped it back to the UK for me. Emilie, Daniela, Libby and Morgan were fantastic.

Room was not very clean and infested with cockroaches. Initial offer to swap rooms was rescinded on pretence the hotel was full but a quick check of availability on the internet showed this to be a lie. Would have been nice to have been told in advance the pool wasn’t available.
