Had a stopover in Darwin and an early flight. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the airport, or there is a free shuttle. There was a function running the night I was there and they moved me to a quieter room without and fuss. Rooms are nothing flash but clean and well made up. Great for the price.

Dear clo283, thank you for your great feedback and I have had a chat with my reservations team to make sure we place the Christmas attendees in the two rooms beside the outdoor area to minimise any disruption. I am pleased they promptly moved you without fuss. Definitely a great price proposition and something for those travellers looking out there...

We stayed at The Mercure for just 1 night after a 1am flight into Darwin. It was fantastic to just get off the plane and pick up the airport phone for their bus. With 2 very tried kids, reception made everything quick and easy. The pool looked amazing at night, was a shame we didn't get to try it out....

Thanks Nikki Z, for the great feedback and the pool is definitely a significant feature and hopefully next time you come through you get the chance to relax by it with a feature cocktail while the kids play in it. We hope to see you again soon. Cheers Jamie

Hasn't changed from Rydges days apart from maybe less staff. Rooms are still comfortable and adequate. Price is definitely better than before. Pool as always tempting. Very convenient for the airport. A good location to layover.

I think you need to let your guests know that you have a function near their room. I could not fall asleep with the music and people yahooing until midnight. It is a stop for people on early flights and battling jet lags.

Dear Anita S, thank you for your feedback and I could not agree more. I have spoken with my team to ensure that any functions continue to be well behaved into the evening. It would be great to catch up with you personally on your next visit and I will send through a private message, however please don't hesitate to...

A tried and true favourite as we frequently travel through Darwin enroute. While housekeeping and maintenance remain the downside of this hotel (change in management yet to rectify), the service at reception and bar and restaurant along with the landscaping and pool make for a pleasant stay. The food and wine at Essence is consistently good and on this occasion...

Very close to airport. Free shuttle 24/7 - ring from free phone in arrivals hall in airport. Rooms new and like glorified caravan decor! But very clean, good aircon, excellent shower and bedding. Evening meal was good. We left in the morning before breakfast. There is a lovely pool with plenty of seats around.

Nicely designed hotel with tropical feel. Great pool, bar and restaurant. I've been there many times and I really like it. Last stay we were allocated a so called 'Territory' room. Its a newly constructed part of the hotel using modules. It makes it a very sterile atmosphere with tiny rooms and the smallest balcony known to man...so better as...

I recently had 2 seperate overnight stays while passing through Darwin on my way overseas, and I don't think I'd look any further than this resort for that purpose. The staff are lovely and so helpful, the rooms are quite good for an overnighter (comfy beds, hot shower). The shuttle bus is so great as well, you don't have to...

Stayed at the Mecure Darwin Airport twice during our trip to Kakadu National Park. We stayed in the Cabins that had lots of room, a lounge, kitchen, balcony, large fridge. We ate at the restaurant one night and were very happy with our Kangaroo steaks. For a moderate priced hotel it would be hard to get a better deal so...
