From the airport a walk through some gardens gets you to the hotel, probably 5-10 minutes with concrete paths all the way, fine if you have a trolley/ wheeled bag. Friendly and helpful reception. The rooms are average but this is not an expensive hotel. There is a very nice pool. We had a quick turnaround after arriving to get...

We stayed here twice with some really dodgy flight times for several hours each stay in the last month. Both times we had problems with a tired and/or tardy receptionist. It's such a shame as one of the more senior staff remembered us and was friendly and hotel is definately good value for money.. On the plus side, the report...

$99 for a room! Awesome. Clean and tidy, cute and cosy.this was the perfect night as we overnighted to Singapore. The hotel picks you up from the airport for free and the restaurant is well priced too.

Checked in 10pm easily enough, waded through the puddles to get to my room. Was in the older section and it's pretty loud, can hear everyone coming and going. I'm still waiting for the hot water to come through on the shower, I know it's hot in Darwin but nothing but cold cold coming out at 5am wasn't pleasant.

Dear Indieonion, thank you for your feedback and I have noted your concerns regarding the hot water supply to one of the areas and whilst I am not sure of your room number can confirm there was one hot water cylinder which failed and is being replaced. The team should have sent a note to the 3 rooms affected by...

Late arrival from airport, need a place to sleep, corporate airport hotel... everything was there to make it a dull stay but not at all ! The hotel is not the most modern, but our room was big (especially for people on/off flights with lots of luggages) and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Do look at my...

Dear Frog_Singap, thank you for the feedback and highlighting Essence, the team there do some great work and a particular highlight is some of the food offering, definitely not what you would necessarily expect from an airport property. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future and my chef will be undertaking a menu modification around the...

Its location is perfect as I have late arrival and early departure flights, as it is just 300 metre away from the airport terminal and no need to take shuttle. The room itself is very basic, nothing fancy and no design at all. The Mecure brand is a 4-star hotel in Asia, however this property is like a motel instead....

The hotel I found to be very unclean there was mold on hotel doors, brown slime on the bathroom floor, smoke butts in gardens and the entry to the hotel rooms had a lot of leaves and brown stains all over the concrete. The breakfast was also very average.

Dear ChapChui, thank you for your feedback and I have taken up your comments personally with our housekeeping manager as it is not acceptable and is monitored on a daily basis. Particularly with our great leafy environment it is critical the team stay on top of that. It would be great to see you back at the property and please...

This was great to stay as passing through, but the room was so small you couldn't swing a cat in it. Badly designed. And no secure safe as to what I was told by my agent. The hotel bar was also closed (and it was peak season), but the restaurant was average but for darwin it was reasonably priced, and...

Dear Merilyn_S_12, thank you for your feedback and I am guessing you are stayed in one of our new modular rooms which are petite in size but provide a great new cost effective alternative. I am concerned of the information your agent advised you as this is incorrect so please let me know who they are directly and I would...

We visited Darwin to catch up with family and decided to stay at the airport hotel, Mercure as I'm an Accor member. This hotel used to be run by Rydges and under new management had undergone some changes for the better. The rooms on the perimeter are best described as cabins and at ground level do attract a musty smell...

Very easy location if you need somewhere to stay between flights. Walking distance from the airport. Noise travelled easily into the room and rooms are accessible by steps so this is difficult if you have baggage. There was a strong smell of chlorine in the room. Restaurant was very nice, had a good selection and pleasant staff.
