As others have stated long queue at check in - could use some more staff. Good site for tent, though the showers and toilets are in need of maintenance. Provided good grill, but again needed cleaning. It could be a good place if some attention were paid to upkeep. Recognize that it's a busy place, but cmon.

What a shambles at the front office. Not enough staff working for the amount of people checking in. Make sure if booking a powered site you are in a site big enough for your van. We had booked 6 months in advance and had to request a change of site as it was not big enough for our van. Ask... More

We stayed in the cabins. Very comfortable. 1 double bed and 2 bunks. The bunks in one room and the double bed in another room. Small kitchenette and nice outdoor area. We were traveling with 4 adults and 2 kids so we hired 2 of them which was perfect. You can fit 6 in one but I think that would... More

Very disappointed. Definately Not value for money. Cold showers. Many of the toilets not working. No Dump point.I would definately expect more for $49.00 a night for a powered site. Also 3 sites together .but only 2 taps supplied. On a brighter note . The staff were fantastic

Hi Steve R, Thank you for your review and I am sorry to read that your stay did not meet expectations. I would like to assure you that we have cleaning and maintenance staff working continuously at the campground during our busy high season and therefore apologise that not all facilities were in good working order during your stay. Obviously there is not a lot of choice as to where you can go in Yulara when camping. The park overall is very good. I did notice a bbq near our site had an " out of order" sign on it when we arrived same as one washing machine in the men's washroom facility. Neither had been fixed after five... More

We found ourselves in the middle of high season in the Campground. It is very busy and also noisy. We later escaped to go out for dinner. Amneties where overused and already not very inviting to be used. We decided to skip our shower that evening. The challenge is that there is only one campground in this area, so the... More

Really disappointed. Pictures show you can camp seeing the Rock. Not true. Diesel generator at rear of camp thumps noisily all night. We have asked to move to another area quieter if possible. Tip move to front of powered camp sites if you can.

From the time we tried to book and found our advance booking made about 2 months ago had been messed up, this was not a good stay. Instead of being situated in a comfortable powered area, we were placed next to the overflow area. We counted 85 caravans / camper vans / motor homes in this one area. All serviced... More

Ayers rock is amazing...but when the only accommodation within cooee is a monopoly bad things happen.... All we wanted to do was have a genuine aussie experience and camp near the rock. The awfull truth is our tent site is 200m away from the power station...thats like trying to sleep while the person in the next room is vacuuming...a constant... More

We stayed one night only and it served it's purpose. The cabin has aircon and heating, one double bed and four bunks, kitchenette and a table inside and outside. The bathroom facilities are in the communal blocks. They have showers with steady hot water, toilets and washing machines. We found the checkin process a breeze. I would recommend hiring a... More
