We stayed for four nights in August. This is a very clean, large campground/caravan park. Sites are large and well spaced, the roads nice and wide. Our site had a slab but not all did. Most are graveled, some just dirt. There was grass in the tent camping area. The staff were kept busy with the caravan section of the... More

I guess when you're the only caravan park within cooee you don't have to worry too much about standards, and I reckon these guys don't. $49 pn for a sloping red dirt site with heavily leaking taps isn't great. The toilets were pretty disgusting when I visited in the morning, with "out of order signs" on the hand-drier (this didn't... More

The Ayers Rock Campground is well set out, with wide sealed roads, large easily accessed powered and non powered sites, all among well tended arid lands gardens. It is a great place to base caravan & camper travellers for time at Uluru. There is a viewing point to watch the changing light on Uluru in the grounds. Staff at all... More

Clever Voyage stayed in an on-site cabin that had 2 bedrooms, linen, bath towels, cooking facilities and utensils, microwave, refrigerator, television and dining table and chairs. Bedding configuration is 1 double bed in one bedroom, and 2 sets of single bunk beds in the second bedroom. These cabins sleep a maximum of 6 people. There are no bathroom facilities in... More

We stayed on a powered site costing $147 for 4 nights (deal - stay 4 for the price of 3). Booking was difficult due to the long periods on hold. On my first attempt I abandoned the call after 30 minutes. The second time I was answered after 40 minutes. Reception is very busy and staff could be assisted with... More

If you like lots of red dirt no grass or gravel then you will like this place. The ground is so hard you can not get pegs in and the dust blows through everything. Due to their monopoly every thing is more expensive then any fair price compensating for remote distance. For those with vans with toilets be aware the... More

I stayed in a cabin. They are well appointed, but shower and toilet facilities are in blocks shared among visitors. Each cabin will sleep up to six people as long as four of you don't mind using bunk beds; a good option for families with up to four kids. Nice little minibar fridge, towels and bed linen are provided, the... More

We stayed at the Ayers Rock Campground in May with 4 adults in a cabin. The cabin had a room with a double bed, another room with 2 bunks and in the middle was a modern kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, kitchen sink etc. The accomodation was reasonably priced in the mid hundreds per night. Toilets and Showers... More

Had read some not so encouraging reviews about the campground so was prepared mentally. However. We were checked in quite quickly (maybe lucky time of day!). We had a powered grassed campsite. Large area with plenty of room. Amenties were clean. Other reviews in the negative I suspect went in peak time school holidays. (Complaints about being overcrowded in the... More
