A visit to this area is a must, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Attila, Cave Hill etc are amazing. Accommodation options are of course limited. This hotel is ok but very expensive and definitely not luxury. Access to rooms is all external. Ants are a problem. Bathroom is very dated. Carpet old. Beds comfortable and clean. We didn't mind really as we... More

We came here to see the 'Field of Light ' art installation and of course the Rock. There is quite a range of accommodation but we chose Sails as we wanted a bit of comfort. We were not disappointed. We stayed in a superior room. Large room, big and comfy bed, contemporary decoration. Our room had a spacious verandah with... More

The room that we stayed in was a very nice place to just sit back and relax. On entry to the hotel you notice that it is well maintained, very clean and very neat. This trend is caried out into the rooms, equiped with a kettle, bar fridge, large barthroom and two double beds. The resort is apart of a... More

I was blown away with the sheer beauty and majesty of the rock formations and the surrounding desert. We arrived just after unseasonably heavy rains, as a consequence the desert was green as far as the eye could see. We chose to stay in Sails in he desert as we wanted pampering. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent,... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and was very pleased with this resort. They were friendly and welcoming. The resort was great and the room was nice. The restaurant Ilkari is a must had eaten there for both breakfast and dinner there was enough variety to choose from. It is close to the town centre but even if it wasn't there... More

Main problem is price complitly not coresponded with quality. I understand is only one 5star hotel in place but 600 aud per night is definitly to much. Breakfast for additional 39 aud per person. Room is spaciouse and nice. But bathroom definitly like 3,5 star. I hate it. Staff on reception was very nice or complitly nit interested to help... More

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay. Rooms and facilities very clean. Not sure on all rooms, as I stayed in room with two queen size beds which was good sharing with a friend, as we both had a big bed.

Fantastic experience. Recommend it highly. Friendly and very helpful staff, really comfortable accommodation. Amazing setting. Easy to get around. A shuttle bus travels the loop until midnight which makes it easy to visit other places within the resort. Great views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Hire a car and explore for yourself. Valley of the Winds walk amazing!

I was a little wary of Ayers Rock Resort. All of the hotels are expensive and this one cost more for 2 nights than we paid for a week in a 5* elsewhere. Pros: The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The hotel facilities were good. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had (although 15-20 min... More

Stayed for 3 nights as part of our trip round Australia. Rooms ok but decor and bathroom faded. No way of turning off cold air con in bathroom. Beds comfy. Breakfast buffet is good. We ate dinner once in Ilkari restaurant - expensive for what it is -it does offer an extensive buffet of starters and desserts but the main... More
