Great resort amenities in the red centre. Great customer service, they will book your tours for you!! Rooms are spacious with balconies. Complimentary laundry, which is heavenly since you're surrounded by red dirt! breakfast options are pricey, $30 but you get full buffet and to order. Walking distance to a little town area where you can buy souvenirs, supermarket and... More

We had a wonderful 3 nights at sails and taking in the sights of Ayres Rock and Olgas. Sails is a wonderful resort, high quality (though a little tired). The only negative, which is totally outside the control of Sails is that the Rock climb was cancelled due to a rescue, which is fair enough for one day, though I... More

Beautifully appointed room although only, has tea making facilities and fridge. Two very good, and not cheap, restaurants plus pool bar. Lovely outside areas. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Try not to arrive after dark though it is a maze to find your room, we were given directions and got lost twice!!!!! Free internet available in rooms. And... More

Sails was situated nice and close to the town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great food in the hotels dining room. Rooms were comfortable but needed a overhaul. Make sure you take plenty of money as everything is very expensive.

We availed of their "Pay for 3 and stay for 4 nights" offer and had an extremely enjoyable stay. Our really large, double room was freshly painted and everything was in good order.. lots of hot water in the shower and an effective heating system, very handy due to the very low temperatures in Uluru during our stay. The slow... More

We have just completed a four night stay at Sails in the Desert. Overall we had a comfortable stay but there were a few niggles. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from Uluru but they charge $60 per head to use the shuttle there. Really? If you have not rented a car or are not on a tour then that... More

Perfect location for viewing both Uluru and Kata Tjuta. For its location in the middle of practically nowhere, this hotel was very comfortable. The interiors were impressive with touches of Anangu art as decoration. Our terrace room was very comfortable and had a lovely terrace overlooking the gardens and pool but we were unable to use it as the weather... More

Sails in the desert is a great place to stay. Nice rooms. Great amenities & Wonderful Staff. The buffet dining room serves a wonderful evening meal and breakfast. When my wife misplaced a piece of jewelry the front of house staff were very helpful. Two days later a phone call to say back of house staff had found the ring.... More

We stayed at Sails for our anniversary - and it was made very special by not only the location, the comforts of the hotel, the great food but also by staff who went above & beyond. Our room was lovely & very comfortable with lots of little luxuries. The bed was soft & the pillows plentiful! The hotel itself is... More

Really glad we had enough time here as it allowed us to see and do everything. The resort is so well laid out with many different options of accommodation. Our room was definitely at the standard we expected. It was a long walk from reception but reasonably close to the car park so that suited us. The guests and staff... More
