We stayed 2 nights - yes it's expensive but theres a lot to see and do and for most people it's a 'special' holiday so you know it's going to cost a bit. Rooms, bar and pool were all great, gift shop was also surprisingly good. I think you really need at least 3 or 4 nights, there's more to... More

We had to stay in a 4 bedded dorm as there was no other accommodation available 6 weeks before our trip. The noise level was shocking, people smoked when & wherever they felt like it and, at times, the toilet & shower blocks were very dirty. The best time to shower was in the afternoon, after they had been cleaned.... More

The rooms are very basic .the bathroom had permanent stains on bath and toilet .rooms need a good revamping The food in the Bough restaurant was good and the fast food outlet was also good . You can dine in the other hotels and charge to your room as its all owned by one company The staff are very friendly... More

We found the Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge clean, comfortable and serviced by helpful, polite & knowledgeable staff. The Bough restaurant served a diverse menu at both breakfast & dinner and the BBQ dinner was very tasty & accompanied by great entertainers every night.

Center of the resort is the bar/Restaurant/snackbar area which reminds me of a theme Park in appearance and menu. Later on it reminded me of the Movie "From dusk til dawn"... The rooms are very basic but clean. Reception totally missed how many People were booked in our room so one bed, towels and everything were missing. It all came... More

As the title suggests, I'm in the bush and while I'm not keen on camping, this was a really good place to stay as I didn't want a 5 star hotel. The name of the place was perfectly suited to what you get. I'm our case, extremely happy with the rooms and facilities. Staff were mainly very good but some... More

Very Good, All staff were wonderful and helpful, The restaurant was great for both evening meal and breakfast, both at a reasonable price. Evening entertainment was good. I was expecting a noisy place considering were it was but was very surprised at how quiet it was. The only down point were that we were bitten quite a lot but that... More

A great bar, eager staff, live music and good food. I really enjoyed my time at the Outback Pioneer - I mostly got meals from the hatch by the bar but you can get more fancy meals from The Bough House restaurant. The meals from the hatch a very good and reasonably priced and the bar is always good -... More

Stayed 2 nights when visiting Uluru. Our room was clean and comfortable. No free wifi but then this resort is in the middle of nowhere (I mean the resort, not the hotel). We didn't eat here so can't comment but there are a couple of options available. Swimming pool.
