I have been here before: some things never change. Sad to say neither does my opinion. The rock awesome, time to get here extremely long. Incredible art work... I gave in and bought one. Resort complex set out... Well designed lots of garden bush. .........staff outback pioneer sorry guys but unfeeling, unhelpful non indigenous, non angosaxon australians. Where is the... More

The Outback Pioneer offered a comfortable, quiet and well maintained room in Yulara. We spent 4 nights here and would be happy to recommend it. Yes the tarrif is a tad high, but this is Yulara where the hotels have you over a barrel due to lack of competition and can therefore charge whatever they like. The hotel also offers... More

Stayed here July 2016. Whereas the rates were reasonable the park was overcrowded. We were allocated a non-powered site in the overflow area, which seemed okay at first - however it was accompanied by the continuous roar of the power plant (generators) which was right next to it. The noise went all through the night and was accentuated every now... More

We stayed in the motel accommodation. It was clean , tidy and spacious with queen bed and single. We also had kitchen facilities with Microwave , toaster and kitchen sink. It is dated but was fine. The staff were very good. We ate in the outdoor area of the hotel and chose the BBQ pack. This involved cooking your own.... More

We stayed at the lodge. It's a sort of backpackers, 4 people in a room. Very simple but perfect for low budgets, as most places are very expensive in the area. But the pub, the BBQ and the swimming-pool are very pleasant. And the best thing is also to rent a car to go to Uluru and Kata Tjuta whenever... More

Seriously the worst balance price Vs quality I have ever seen in my life. Ayers Rock is a unique place but the business around it is extremely disappointing. I could even be happy to sleep in a dorm sharing with others and have the closest restroom about 100 mt from the room but please don't ask me to pay 80... More

Outback Pioneer Hotel proved an excellent choice. It provided comfortable accommodation, well maintained gardens and a host of opportunities for dining. Staff were generally attentive and friendly. The environment in general seemed to be happy and relaxed. Highly recommend this hotel.

I was wary of this hotel once I found out that it was also a backpackers lodge - I had no reason to be! A clean room with more beds that we needed, a quiet pool area and a bar area which did get livelier in the evening but not too noisy. There is a shuttle bus running around the... More

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel at Ayers Rock Resort. From the time we landed at the airport the whole experience ran like clockwork. Our hotel room was excellent, clean, & serviced each day. Food here was also excellent, particularly the Kiosk. Great selection of wines, beers, etc. The hotel was serviced by the free town bus or you... More

Great little hotel convenient to everything and has great onsite facilities as well. A great view of Uluru from the platform. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and everything was presented really nicely. The staff were very friendly and other than a minor miscommunication over pricing for breakfast - the staff were very helpful! Would recommend to others and happily stay... More
