I thought our lodge was very expensive considering it didn't have a toilet or shower nor free wifi. For $225 a night in a very basic chalet I'd expect breakfast to be at least thrown in too but it was €26 and poor enough! with crusted up pastries and poor quality food. Ugh! If you stay here, because you are... More

It is part of the massive complex called Ayers Rock resort that has about 4 motel chains. We stayed in room 92 which had its own bathroom. The check in took forever and they were very slow. However room was just great for a 3 star hotel. The red dust Gets into everything and whilst other reviews I had read... More

We visited with a tour group and arrived just on sunset. Although we alighted outside our group, ie the 400's it was quite difficult to find our room in the twilight. We freshened up and then went in search of food. The staff were as helpful as they could be but the food options were poor. We were too late... More

I was here with family. A 4 bunk dorm was 170 dollars (steep in itself). Then, they said no wifi for dorm guests which strikes me as really pretty damn petty. The food in and around this place is incredibly ordinary and expensive (because there's no competition). All in all, is never go here again, but if I want to... More

We've just travelled around the Eastern half of Australia and this was by far the most expensive night, but hey what's the alternative if you want to visit Uluru? The room was comfortable, had everything we needed and there were lots of options for eating, drinking and carparking.

We spent several days here in June in the midst of our five weeks' travel around Australia. This place was the least expensive hotel option at Uluru and still very spendy for a cinderblock room. It was a large room but very dark, basic and not terribly clean. The breakfast was fine but nothing special. There was a kitchen take... More

Ok if ever the sentence "relatively OK" applies it's here. You're out there, in Yulara, 500km from civilisation and so the amount of choice you have is limited to the extreme. In our price bracket for this stay there was even less choice so the Outback Pioneer it was. Room was very very basic but as it was just for... More

The room was ok for the one night we stayed at the rock but at $230 a night for a small room with no shower or toilet is and a torn blanket on a bed? But it was only a 30 second walk to shower and toilet block .We had a nice view point to watch the sun set and... More

The Outback Pioneer resort is a great set up. I wasn't too impressed with the cleanliness of our room or the second day make up of the room but the resort has it all. We dined in the restaurant which was a fun and tasty experience. They have a BBQ kitchen where one chooses their meat and cooks it themselves... More
