    Enjoyable Stay
Stayed 3 nights in a family room not far from the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here despite the anticipated heat and flies. Was really impressed by the number and quality of the toiletries provided and replenished daily. Having mugs, wine glasses and tall glasses was also appreciated. Our package included buffet breakfast and there was plenty to choose from. My only issue was on the last morning when I approached a staff member asking for another container of English breakfast teabags. The young lady provided me with one. Others were looking for teabags too! We made maximum use of the pool which was always clean and enjoyed the comfortable lounges in the shade. The hop on, hop off bus service was reliable and the drivers were always happy to answer any of our questions.

Short stay in the Red Centre
Spent 2 nights in at the Outback Pioneer Hotel at the end of a short visit to the Red Centre. Lodge-type room 309 was comfortable and convenient to the restaurant and swimming pool. We took advantage of a discounted offer for breakfast and also ate in the restaurant on the 1st night. We both had the "special" of T-bone steak which was disappointing so our bill was discounted. The hotel is convenient for the resort shops and for sight-seeing in the area but unfortunately everywhere was infested with flies. Hadn't experienced this on a previous visit.

    Good for a short stay
We opted to stay at the Lodge, which was a standard hostel. Room and shared bathroom facilities were what you would expect. We were lucky not to have roommates in our 4-person room, as it would have been very crowded. I was relieved by the lack of creepy crawlies. Pub/kitchen area had a cool, relaxed vibe and food prices seemed reasonable. There is also a grocery store nearby. Accommodations in Uluru are scarce and expensive, and this was the least expensive option. I recommend renting a car to get around.
Hi Roksta79 Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent stay at the Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge and we are so pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure to have you as a guest and we further thank you for choosing to visit Ayers Rock Resort. Kind Regards Andrew Freak General Manager Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge

If experiencing Uluru, the Outback is one of the most cost effective accomodation options. Rooms are well appointed with a quiet AC system and spacious bathroom. There is a large outdoor eating and drinking area with a cook your own BBQ facility plus an indoor casual restaurant and take out. Prices are not cheap however there is a supermarket which you can access with the free shuttle bus that takes you to the small Town Square. The only dissallintment is no microwave in the room. Otherwise, fantastic and laid back place to experience this magical part of Austria.

Reception staff were friendly, motel room was comfortable and clean, large bathroom, wifi worked, no noise at night, was able to park across from our room. Had dinner at the on-site restaurant where you cook your own meat and help yourself to salad, baked potatoes & bread rolls. Everything at the Ayers Rock Resort (accom, food, drinks etc) is more expensive than you would find near big cities but you are in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Gorgeous room, so clean and comfortable. Beautiful toiletries, excellent shower, heavenly bed. I could go on, but in short, I couldn't fault anything. The grounds were beautiful and so well maintained, the food options were very convenient, the pool area was so relaxing in the mornings with plenty of tables/chairs and sun lounges, tho quite busy in the afternoons but always a cheerful vibe. The large open air (undercover) bar area felt very relaxed and family friendly with live music at night, seemed to be solo artists, all very talented. I didn't have any issues with noise whatsoever. Easy to get around with every accommodation option/town square/camel farm connected by free shuttle bus (20 minute loop from 1030-0030). All resort & coach staff were obviously well experienced with lost or confused travellers so made instructions very clear and spent extra time where necessary with guests whose first language wasn't English - I felt 100% safe and comfortable throughout my 5 day stay.

The basics are covered. I stayed in the lodge, so very basic accommodation. My room was a 4 bed dorm, and the room is 2 bunk beds, 4 lockers and nothing else. There is a huge bathroom block with plenty of showers and toilets, so you never have to queue. The food onsite is decent. The staff are friendly and helpful

I thought I was staying in the backpacking section of the Hotel, but was pleasantly surprised that it was the hotel for the price I paid, it was great! I also enjoyed how lovely the room was, spacious, lovely clean bathroom and small area for tea/coffee. Lots of hanging and suitcase space. I felt at home, loved the BBQ/Bar area, great atmosphere with live entertainment every night. The staff were all very informative and pleasant. I will be back! Breakfast was a bit pricey so I would recommend indulging but also get some breakky stuff from the supermarket if staying for a few days. I'd rather spend my $ on tours and souvenirs.

We had travelled from 6.40 am from Alice on a tour. When we arrived we couldn't get our room - had late lunch and then sat and sat - we were being picked up at 4pm for tour. Others had come in and gone straight to rooms. It was a nice room when we got it. and good bed. Good bar and take away type food. Good shuttle bus to shops or can walk Good seating outside front door to sit and wait for tour bus.

outlook pioneer hotel is located apart from the rest of the ayers rock resort lodges, and I think this is a plus point because it is away from the hustle and bustle the rooms are recently refurbished, at least the ones in 300 block. there is rainforest shower as well as hand held shower in the bathroom. room even come equipped with USB-C ports! wifi connection is excellent and is available from inside the room as well as the surrounding property worth noting is the shared bathrooms for those choosing lesser rooms. they are kept very clean. to me, outback pioneer hotel seems like a no brainer choice considering this is one of the cheaper options around.

Great place - i stayed in Lodge for 4 people which was very nice and comfortable for reasonable price; at the resort there is enough options provided food (few cafes / restaurants and grocery store in case you prefer to cook yourself) ; good selection of fully organized trips or just hop on hop off bus which was amazing and gives flexibility of how much time you would like to spend for a small price comparing to organized trips

Great accomodation - clean rooms, first place we've stayed that has beautiful body wash, shampoo etc in shower - kettle, hairdrier, fridge is extra small. Laundry on site has washing machines, camp kitchen on site. Takeaway cafe on site - pricey but excellent pizzas, burgers. Live music every night we stayed. Breakfast buffet also pricey, but amazing. Too cold for pool, but area looked great. Overall, every staff member we dealt with made us feel welcome. The customer service was outstanding.
