We called in on our way back from Kakadu to try see the Mary River Region. Sadly a lot was closed due to a very good wet, however the place is just magic. Reception was extremely helpful and the camp sites were a nice size without been over crowded. A lot of the walks are still closed due to the...

Excellent place to commune with nature. You must note that it is remote and you need to take your own fresh supplies as the nearest facilities is 25 km out. I would recommend going in the dry season as you will be able to do more on the property.

Stayed here for one night as part of an organised tour in September 2016. We slept out in swags under the stars, not too close to the river though due to the crocs. There were toilet blocks a short walk away - the campsite was lit okay, but we did need a torch. The showers were fairly new and had...

Just wanted to have a quiet getaway from Darwin overnight. Great spot for it: an unexpected upgrade to a poolside cabin (nice for our anniversary and FABULOUS swimming after dinner under the trees in a warm pool with rain sprinkling down!). The gardens were lovely, and our two meals of fish (barramundi and jewfish) were yummy and just what we...

We came to Mary river for a long weekend away from Darwin and it was a perfect getaway. Although it was wet season and rained a fair bit it was nice just to have some family time away technology-free and spend some time in nature. We stayed in the family bungalow which was bigger and nicer than we thought they'd...

Nice 3 night stay, friendly staff, clean cabins. Very quiet and peaceful. No restuarant due to Chef emergency but we were told ahead of time, well equipped camp kitchen. bring a fan if sitting outside in the wet season, very steamy. Wallabies everywhere after the rain was a highlight, great slice of the NT.

We wanted to get out of town (Darwin) for a couple of nights and have bit of an adventure. We were not disappointed. The poolside bungalow was great. The bathroom was excellent. The pool was excellent. Staff were very helpful. We took our food and used the camp kitchen. That was fine. The place is an excellent base from which...
