We dropped in here for lunch on our way back to Darwin from Kakadu. My partner ordered chicken parma and there was none left. I ordered a steak sandwich. The bread was hard and dry - probably toasted while still frozen. I asked for a hot coffee and it was luke warm. Two orders did not arrive at the same... More

Its was our second visit there. On the first occasion they had run out of everything except hamburgers. The burger patty was totally processed and we could not eat it. The second time we went and the only reason we stopped is that we knew there was nowhere else for miles, we ordered steak sandwiches that took an hour to... More

Had a 40th there last night and a band was hired.Free camping without power, good clean toilets and showers, friendly pub.Budget rooms small so we upgraded to a cabin which suited all our needs and slept well.Had afew wines on the balcony and watched the world go by and walked across to the pub for dinner.

Only stayed a night as had a flight the next day. Stayed in a budget cabin which was basically a container with an aircon. Had a good sleep and was happy not having to tent it which is what I had been doing for two weeks. The new staff are real pub people and have fitted in very well. There... More

We stayed three nights in a donga with ensuite which served us well other than no tea & coffee making so no jug either, but we easily got over that and just walked over to the pub for hot water each morning. The pub was great and we were there for Saturday Night's live music and caught the late session... More

Great pub with loads of historic must-see. The beer is icy cold and the welcome is warm. Apparently the buffalo pies are fantastic as they sold out so we couldn't try one! So get in early. This is a great place to stop and refuel both your car and yourself either on the way to Kakadu or on the way... More

This place is fantastic! Great atmosphere, shady places to camp, brilliant food and cold beers! They have new management who have taken over In the last few weeks and the staff are brilliant. You also have reception if you are with Telstra. Can't say enough positive things about the roadhouse

This place is so Kitch it brilliant. The place is dirty has cobwebs on the rafters and is full of graffiti. There is Bella a broken down land cruiser in the front yard and one inside the bar... seriously inside the bar. Its one of the few places that serve espresso and its really awful and overpriced. Grab a stubby... More

Great restaurant to go if you are based in mary river area As claimed, it is the last alcohol before your drive into kakadu national park (your next stop is jabiru city itself) Service is friendly On weekend when we were there, there was live music performance (country songs) which was surprisingly good. Nice outback experience and ok food
