Booked about an hour before arriving which was great. Reception was a bit cold. Room was clean, no pool, restaurant closed for public holiday, still trying to find the premium satellite channels. View was of the car park but thought it was going to be garden view.

Every few years, my family goes out for Christmas lunch. This year we chose The Mantra Pavilion Wagga because we had eaten there once before and was very impressed. Here is my story from Christmas Day 2016 - I booked for 8 people at a total cost of $840.00. We arrived at 12.00pm, as we were told to do. We...

Dear Sheridan K, On behalf of all of us here at Mantra Pavilion we are extremely disappointed to hear of the service you received during your Christmas visit. This is certainly not up to the usual high standards of both the Pavilion and Mantra that our guest expects of us, and for this we are sorry. After reviewing your feedback...

The Mantra Pavilion is well located in the quiet Wagga Wagga CBD with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a spectacular atrium over the reception, bar and dining space. And had makeovers over the years however the rooms and facilities are dated. Staff are personable and obliging. Giuseppe' restaurant across the road from the Pavilion is a...

Stayed for one night. On check in and check out the staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. You couldn’t ask for much more really.

I have stayed here for work many times and while I can't fault the service from counter staff very pleasant but the rooms are just a bit too tired now. I was in room 216 - a large room with kitchenette. One light in lounge room couldn't find any additional light in kitchen. Lounge kitchen area very dark. Me gloomy...

We have been here many many times. The food is beautiful and so is the coffee. I think the tapas menu and drinks are lovely. The service has always been a little off but we overlooked it because of the food/drinks. But it has become so bad that i just can't bring myself to go back. Examples of the terrible...

We stayed for 4 days for a family wedding with some trepidation. We arranged a dinner for family and friends on Friday night - but the arrangements were fraught with difficulty with personnel changes . I was concerned that we would have to go elsewhere for dinner. But the dinner worked out well with good food and attentive staff. All...

An interesting decor - in a sort of open plan atrium/pavilion tent with nautical (ship mast) overtones. Novel, interesting and quirky without being over the top or twanky. Service good, the one dish we each had as a main course - Barramundi , was fist class as were the sides. Good wine. would love to go back to explores its...

After making a reservation for the restaurant 2 weeks ago I was called by a staff member telling me they had 2 large functions on the same night and I no longer had a booking, which was 4 days away. Very unprofessional! The staff member could not tell me why when I booked 2 weeks ago that I wasn't told...

Oh my god three courses of deliciousness. All three courses were to die for, probably the best overall restaurant food I have ever eaten. Crispy Pork Belly for entrée. As crispy and moist as it was stated. Slow Cooked Beef which melted away in your mouth. Lemon Star Anise Pudding with Banana Ice Cream one of the best desserts ever...
