I thought cheap but this one is also nasty. So dirty and unkept. A small input of cash to spruce up the place and a LARGE input of elbow grease might bring it up to an acceptable standard. The sheets and towels were clean.

We would be very happy to stay again at the Mercury Motor Inn. It is unpretentious on first sight but we were delighted with the service, the cleanliness and the modest cost. We had a very enjoyable evening meal served to our room, and breakfast the next morning. It was a surprise to experience crisp white sheets, and the shower... More

We found ourselves in an emergency and needing urgent accommodation in Wagga, low and behold the Mercury Motor Inn came to our rescue as the cheapest we could find on Wotif, $80 for a queen room. After phoning to check the availability, the room was held by simply providing my last name. It was dark when we checked in and... More

This room was perfect for our one night stay. It had very basic facilities, but everything was very clean, and worked! A good deal for the price, and very close to town! We very much enjoyed our stay in Wagga!

Look, let's get one thing straight. The price of itinerant accommodation in Wagga Wagga has gone silly but, if you are prepared to accept slightly more basic digs then this place is great. Try finding a queen sized bed, microwave and spacious room for $70 a night elsewhere...best luck with that. And a great pool to boot. For the budget... More

Beds were comfy with all the basics including noisy fridge, rattling window (it was particularly windy) but it was relatively clean and even the beetle in the shower didn't bite me. Its out of town and a 5 min drive back in but it met our basic needs with a basic price so definitely cant complain. It had been 41... More

The office booked this motel for two of us at very short notice, when I read the reviews I was a bit horrified and tried desperately to find an alternative, without success. On check in we were pleasantly surprised to find a dated but clean room, unfortunately the heater did not work and the aircon sounded like a Boeing747, but... More

I needed a room at short notice on the eastern edge of town, so booked here. An older place in need of some TLC, and this was reflected in the price. It was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Good, hot, shower but the bathroom was freezing due to the louvred window. Room itself functional but clean and had... More
