We stayed one night at the Garden City Motor Inn on our way between Melbourne and Sydney. Wagga Wagga is a convenient stopover point. The Garden City is an older style "classic" motel. The room was large, the bed was comfortable. The television and other amenities fine, good wifi. What let this property down was the lack of attention to...

We stayed for one night on the trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Room was adequate. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple. Would stay there again. Close to shopping area of Wagga and close to some open space.

Clean, tidy & friendly. Value for money. My husband and i stayed for one night and only fault i could find is the pool was closed for maintenance in 35deg heat. Other then that free wifi, nice neat clean rooms, manager was great, easy to approach and price includes a light breakfast. Highly recommended for anyone needing a place in...

Convenient location, opposite a lovely park. Easy walk to down town and shopping centre. Lots of free parking. Breakfast choices were plenty. Room was large and very clean. Friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Run by a very friendly couple, tariff includes basic continental breakfast. Restaurant is only open Monday - Thursday. Easy walk to Wagga central and the Murrumbidgee riverside walk. The rooms could certainly do with a facelift to bring them into the 21st century.

Stayed for 2 nights in Garden City Motor Inn. It was quiet, clean, the wifi worked well (and it's free), good service and great breakfast. The beds are comfy and the rooms are fairly spacious. It is also very close to town. Would recommend it to others looking for a good stay in Wagga Wagga!

Very easy, in and out with free wifi- always a plus. Air con kicked in quickly and nice and quiet at night. Great location but still out of the way enough for a good nights sleep. Simple, stylish and clean. Great!

we were very nicely treated by John the manager. he went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. he even arranged a microwave for us. over all it was quite close to the main wagga wagga village market. just a short drive from the hotel. the breakfast was served in the restaurant and it was wholesome and filling.

When it comes to choosing a motel, I look for two things: a quiet location and proximity to what matters. The Garden City Motor Inn in Wagga Wagga (I’m told some locals don’t like it when you just say Wagga) met both my criteria. It’s in a suburban street, away from all the highways and main roads. That puts it...
